Good evening oh wise and mighty ppk!

I've undertaken the task of decluttering my apartment. Part of that task involves trying to repurpose things that we already own so I don't have to spend any money to decorate, organize, etc.

So, I put this task before you:

Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative use for a small six bottle wood and metal wine rack?

* storing rolled-up magazines
* sorting your kindling and small pieces of firewood
* fire extinguisher caddy
* rack for soda bottle or general other-things-in-bottles ("This is the olive oil, this slot is for sriracha, this is the vinegar, this is the extra-big ketchup...")
* stand it on its back next to the door for holding canes and umbrellas
* install light bulb holders, attach paper or cloth around the outside, hang from ceiling and use as chandelier

My mom has a wall-mounted wine rack in her guest bathroom that she puts rolled up towels in. I always thought that was pretty cute.

This particular wine rack is comprised of two sides- wooden arches with circlique iron in the middle-, and four wavy iron pieces that attach on each side (one on the front, one on the back) to create a three bottle capacity on each of the two levels.

I like the idea of putting towels in it though.. I could possibly set it by the tub *far enough away from potential splashes of course*.

my wine rack is used for wine and as a tv stand! (tiny apartment) but it is large.

I too love the towel rack idea, it would clear up so much of my limited cupboard space.

I immediately pictured a wine rack with baguettes in each hole.

This sounds intensely filthy.
