I was listening to the Nerdist podcast and Andrew Lincoln was on (Rick). The episode started with a warning that there were no spoilers for season 3, but a ton from season 2. Okay, fine, I'm up to date. But then they dropped some things about the comics! I mean, the things they said were very minor (or probably seem that way to folks), but everything is a big deal to me when it comes to this show, haha.
Also, it's very strange to listen to Andrew Lincoln talk after only knowing him as Rick. He's super English and his accent really confuses me. His southern drawl is so convincing! I puffy heart the Nerdist podcast

I agree, people do that a lot as well as in situations a lot more minor than choosing between safety & comfort versus running for their lives and scavenging for food.

If the people of Woodbury are trying to keep their existence secret isn't it counterproductive to hang deactivated walkers up in the woods?

I'd be super-dead by this point, which is a convenient way to avoid difficult choices.

So I've seen tons of zombies goring on humans, and a leg amputation, and so many other gruesome things on this amazing show, but nothing has made me so sick to my stomach as the scenes with Lori tonight. I'm def not her number one fan but I am surprisingly sad with how it all turned out.

Holey frock and shift. That was NUTS.
I figured someone from The Group was gonna snuff it by the midseason break, but I was not expecting that. At all. Good grief.

Holy shiitake, that was AMAZING. Totally makes up for the first couple of episodes. I just finished it and I want to watch it again.
But, uh, is Carol dead? Or is it a mystery? It ended and Boyfriend and I were like 'wait, they didn't show her dead yet, right?' but then we thought we could have missed it in all the excitement and yelling.

I liked TDog. I guess someone decided on some level they couldn't have more than one African American regular. IMO, I think it sucks that the one they are going to have plays a convict. There is Michone (sp?) though. I guess it just isn't the same thing as seeing "a reglar person" in the story line versus a sword wielding superhero type.

I know it is a cable show, but it still feels odd to read about a 4th episode approaching midseason. Hopefully they will not go on a hiatus, but with the holidays coming it seems likely. Boo.

I'm really disappointed that the baby didn't eat its way out of Lori. Le sigh.

Woodbury doesn't seem very safe to me, now that they have shown us a little more of it. It doesn't seem like those bolstered trucks blocking streets is enough to justify how relaxed the people seem. Then again, after what happened at the prison, apparently locks are not enough either. Somebody like the governor or a gang wanting their resources could have done the same thing to the group. I know we are watching a show about walking corpses, but it seemed to be stretching things for that convict to have survived being locked in that prison yard with those zombies.

I almost cried! And then I remembered that I didn't like Lori anyway. But I'm honestly surprised at how upset Rick was. Just two episodes ago he was so cold to her. I get it but I don't at the same time. Looks like hes gonna lose his shiitake now! Scared of that.
Missed opportunity: Lori coming back as a zombie and eating Carl.

Zombies are dead, decomposing humans with a hunger for flesh, right? They have normal human teeth, so how the hell can they tear at flesh so easily? I mean, the meat just fell right off T-Dog like he has been marinating for days when that zombie bit into him.

I cried like a baby when Lori held Carl for the last time and cried. It was just too much. I hated on Lori a ton, too, and Carl last season. Though he seems to be earning his keep and more considering he's just a kid.
I think it makes total sense that Rick finally lost it. I would be suspect if he didn't. It broke my heart to see Carl stone-faced standing there all alone with no one to comfort him.
I'm glad they didn't let Lori survive a c-section in a prison boiler room in the zombie apocalypse. It's already a stretch that the prisoner Rick locked in the yard with the zombies survived.
I think it's interesting that both people that have tried to err on the side of humanity - whatshisface not wanting to execute the prisoner they had at the farm and now T wanting to bring the convicts into the group - end up dying at the hands of the walkers. Says a lot about what you have to be to survive in that world.
