I would've thought it would've been Romney who engineered the hurricane since it mostly affected blue states.

It has all the classic signs of an October surprise. Namely, it happened in October.

I sent in my ballot last week. I kinda want to crawl into a hole until Wednesday morning and hopefully emerge to some good news.

I'm not even American and I feel this way.

We had those signs all over the place (and it's a pretty effective tactic here). His whole advertising campaign brought me from zero to rage in about 3 seconds.

I get so happy knowing I live in a blue state, then I remember it's not very blue over here. But I think it motivates me to go out and be politically active in a way I might not be if I lived amongst my own kind!

You are probably not alone unless you are Pakistani. And really, most Pakistanis don't seem to care either way. Actually the country with the highest level of people who LIKE Romney is Kenya. Obama still blows him out of the water, but anyway.

I guess they learned from experience that it does not make a difference for their country who fights the "war on terror" and dumps the drones.

I just overheard a colleague refer to Elizabeth Warren as "shrill." Ooooh, she's a LADY! Sometimes she gets angry about important issues, omgz!! But Scott Brown, he's just "assertive." Right.

Cast my Ballot on Saturday! I told myself I'd stop looking at polls, but I can't stop myself! Also, how the hell are people still undecided at this point?? Nonsense. Even more shocking is that the presidential race is so freaking close! I feel even more confident in my vote for BO than I did in 2008. McCain wouldn't have been anywhere near as bad as Romney. Palin on the other hand...

It was God showing his displeasure at the fact that we frown upon the stoning of sluts and gays. Or so some of religious right crazies seem to think. I'm sure Huckabee feels this way also, as he did about the Colorado shootings, but he isn't stupid enough to say it this time.

The problem is that the polls aren't really reflective of what is going to happen. It appears that Obama is set to take all but 2 of the swing states and even those are close. It looks like he may even take Nevada, which I think would be a first in their history ? (Democratic candidate that is). Romney is strong in normal Republican strongholds (minus Nevada) but weak in other places. It seems that Obama is really just at risk of losing the popular vote, but I highly doubt he'll lose the election.

There are rumblings that Obama could lose FAIRFAX. if he loses Northern Virginia, he doesn't have a chance at Virginia.

I'm encouraged that Kaine is keeping a marginal lead in the polls. McDonnell is already bad enough; please don't stick us with Allen too.

Tomorrow, alarmingly early, I will vote. And then frantically try to get to work on time. Stupid voting mucking up my day.

And then I will encamp myself in a bar tomorrow evening to watch election results roll in, and attempt not to chew my hand off. fork nail-biting, this is a hand-gnawing year.

clearly this is just further evidence that Obama is not an American citizen! where's Hawaii on that graph? ha! therein lies the conspiracy! i'm not voting until i see Obama's birth certificate! (i early voted on wednesday)

You don't have the day off? We have teacher "work" days this week, Monday and Tuesday. I thought that was standard for election day. Most polling stations here are schools anyway.

We get to "work" from home. Most of us do zippo because we ran around like lunatics getting everything done last week. I like that our principal appreciates that we do the work that needs done when it needs done and do not need to come sit in meetings. Or, that we can go sit in Starbucks and get some planning done instead of going to school.

I will do some planning tomorrow. I need to redo my meteorology unit powerpoints and edit a lab.

Me too. I'll be at the polls at 7am. I'm rather nervous about how tomorrow will turn out. There will either be celebratory wine drinking or "oh god we're forked" wine drinking.

I'm so f-ing nervous I can't breathe. I am going to a movie tomorrow night so hopefully we will get out when there's already a decision, because I can't wait any longer. I'm having such bad anxiety imagining Romney winning. I need to do something about the state of our politics. I've never felt it more strongly.

I am so not a fan of Paul Ryan, but I hate when people make fun of looks on either side. It's not relevant!
