I've watched all of the west wing and I watched VEEP very recently where they say POTUS all the time, btu since it was a fictional show I thought that was the presidents freaking name. A few weeks ago, I saw POTUS written out and was like OHHHH MYYY GOOODDDD.

so yeah, right there with you. unless you were being sarcastic...if so, I was too!

So I've got high schoolers insulting me and copy pasting things at me because I defended someone for liking Obama. I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

I really feel for people who are waiting hours to vote; it was so easy for me. I parked right next to the building, walked in, voted, and walked out. I think it took me four minutes. And there's not much on the line (for the presidential race) here, so no pressure like in a swing state.

Good job, patient voters!

Wow, one of the counties near me (Racine) ran out of ballots! Our polls just closed...that is crazy!

I've been watching Allen's lead and its narrowing.

FL is now scaring me as Obama's lead is very narrow now. I can't stand this!!

Obama is ~100,000 votes down here, but Fairfax is only reporting 38/244 precincts.

The whole long line things is exactly why polling hours here are crepe. Traffic is awful, people cant get from work to a polling place much before 7, so we have hundreds of people in line around northern Virginia.

Seriously, same here, but I had friends that lived in the city ten minutes away and waited in line for three hours!

A friend (currently disabled) waited 2 1/2 hours to vote today as the station was down to three machines from ten. They were out seven machines!! That seems excessive.

And there are still people here waiting in line to vote.

Isn't the whole thing that Romney can't win if he loses Ohio AND New Hampshire, even if he wins Florida?

Can't stop staring at the NYT page! I'm so stressed out and I already ate my emergency election supply of four packs of Liz Lovelies.

This is also my first presidential election living in a red state. It's feels weird.

looks so annoying right now but most of the states I see reported in are red I'm going to let it run a while before I worry. When there is more out there and some of the big blue ones are in I can worry if things are going the crazy way.

I made plans early this morning to hang out at a bar with some work friends. Then Fred texted, reminding me we have tickets to a show tonight. I love this artist, and really want to go, but I'm a nervous wreck with these results.

Any suggestions for an iPhone app I can check between songs?

Also, I'm so pissed about the redistricting. They split up Asheville so that half was in district 11 and half was an awkward chubby dick off the side of 10 to guarantee that no shittyassbluedog democrat could ever win here again (at least I figured that's why the footballstar asshat blue dog decided to not run again). Take a look @ the huffpo page on NC and see how they drew them. Of course there are a few that maybe go for dems too, but guuuuh.
