I have a hard month ahead, so I decided to splurge on a few LUSH bath bombs and bubble bars to help me chill out and deal with stress. I ordered: and I feel less guilty buying bubble bars because you can get several baths out of them.

I said earlier in the thread that my Karma solid shampoo wasn't working that well, but I might reconsider. I feel like it's doing a better job now, although not great. So I was thinking that maybe it's just the transition between cheap chemical heavy supermarket shampoo to the lush one? My hair might be getting used to it know. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Has anyone else had a similar experience? My armpits went through something similar. I had been warned it takes a few weeks for your body to get accustomed to the less chemicals so it is probably the same for hair. Come to think of it the Big shampoo has definitely improved over time. At the start I was only getting 2 days max out of it but now I get 3.

My Lush order came yesterday and I tried a few things this morning:
Shave the world - I like moisturizing shave creams except they can gunk up your razor. This one is ok but may be a bit too creamy for my likes.
Glogg - Smelled it, didn't use it yet. Smells awesomely cinnamonly. A warm scent, most associated with men's products but I like it.
R&B - Used it after washing my hair. My hair is soft and frizz free. This is a winner for me.
Rub Rub Rub - I wasn't sure about the small granules, which I normally don't like. This was quite softening though without feeling greasy. I think I like it.

Very much in love with ponche shower gel at the moment. And was very lucky to be given one of each of the christmas soaps and bath bombs by a customer who works for lush....treat!
Also, if you haven't already, you absolutely must try 'let the good times roll' cleanser. It smells of cake and popcorn!

I think I'm going to request a new bottle of Grass, Avobath and that bath bomb that smells like a pine forest for xmas this year. I want things that are bright scented (like mint or citrus) or earthy scented. I get sad during the winter.

Does the popcorn lip scrub smell or taste like popcorn?

Yes! It's sweet and salty like kettle corn.

(thankfully, i came back to LUSH several years later and found millions of things i love!)

i just used the twilight shower gel. i love lavender, but the scent wasn't as strong as some of their other shower gels. that might be a plus for some.

Does LUSH have a vegan shampoo that works well with curly hair? I've been using Aveda's Be Curly for years and love it and when I use another shampoo I turn into a giant frizzball, but after the Aveda/EL/China situation I wouldn't mind switching if I could find a decent shampoo. I was excited to see that LUSH sells a shampoo specifically for curly hair - Curly Wurly - but it contains eggs and lanolin. Any other recommendations?

Do you have thick curly or fine curly hair? Big works well for me, but my hair is in between wavy and curly, and I have pretty fine hair.

It's quite thick and can get a bit coarse if I use the wrong products.

Thanks, LazySmurf! I just saw this and checked it out on their website and that does look promising! I'll have to give it a try. Although, doesn't Trichomania sound like a disease you'd get from eating undercooked pork?

i amazingly got out of LUSH spending only $11 yesterday, and i'm feeling pretty proud of myself. i also got a sample of veganese and a sample of marilyn, so that will be interesting to try.
they said they aren't getting all the new vegan conditioners until black friday, so i'll have to head back then.
i've been using jungle for months, and i really like it, BUT it broke into four pieces recently and now it's really more difficult to use. any thoughts or tips?

You can melt it back into one shape. I used to mix mine with boiling water to make a thinner paste so it went further - just stick it in an old black pot.
