Happy birthday Leela!
ndpittman - I'm learning to do full push ups with what my trainer calls a 'rolling push up'. You start doing pushups on your knees, but when you're fully up get on your toes and lower yourself to the ground, then push back up on your knees, then back down on your toes. Does that make sense?
I've been searching for a vegan meal replacement powder that isn't soy protein based for months and have just found one!

I was looking at Mr8 earlier and thinking that I'm still just as attracted to him as I was before we were 'official'.

I'm in the library and I saw a tiny child carrying a big pile of books. It was very cute.

I am wearing my fancy $50 designer sunglasses that I bought at a sample sale ages ago. Why, you ask? Because two days ago I finally got LASIK and can enjoy the world of non-prescription eyewear.

Got my second fruit and veg bag delivery today, just as inspirational as last weeks. I made an amazing dinner and now am having to be very very strict with myself so I don't have third helpings and give myself bellyache.
It's great having people deliver random stuff! I will never know what I'm going to get and because I'm on a very tight budget I'm forced to cook all the short-life stuff really soon (because I don't have anything easier ready made to fall back on since I've run down my cupboards, and so I'm not putting it aside until "tomorrow" and then forgetting about it and wasting it). Mmmm, rainbow chard.

Yesterday: biker boy bought veggies and quinoa and tofu and cooked me stir fry for dinner. He's learned how to dry fry tofu. Isn't that cute?
Today: hmm... well I wore some pretty rad shoes. I guess that's probably it.

I took my crush up on his offer to help me give Ginny her meds while I'm at work. He sent me a picture of him and her on a walk, and apparently she was super well behaved for her eye drops. She struggles so much with me, it's getting a little traumatizing for me actually. It makes me feel so good to know she not only got her meds, but got them in a less stressful way.

The best thing about my day was learning that my office nemesis is leaving for new employment in two weeks.

I like the blue Sheese okay but find it has a sweetness to it that is off-putting. I hope to put the parmesan to work in something today! Last day of work before vacation is already half over. Then I'm off for 9 days in a row, bisques, headed to NYC. And I get to meet 'fulish and Leela, rachell37 and other PPKers!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy you're out of that hellhole PPPP! I hate how some of your colleagues treat you. If you were my awesome colleague, I'd be the happiest happy bunny. And Yay for meeting you, rachell37 and T! RandiJM is coming too, right? Epic fun meet up!

Successfully baking Isa's chai spiced snickerdoodles! Cookies are always such a disaster for me. The tips she left about adding flour and using damp hands were so helpful! Maybe things like that should be obvious but I'm a newish at baking and a relatively new vegan. So yay! I'm excited for my husband to come home and try one.
