I like the Trader Joe's breakfast blend (organic and fair trade). It's reasonably priced. I grind the beans in the store, because I'm far too lazy to grind them at home.

i am not ashamed to admit that i used to donate blood on a timeline based on which blood drives were giving away free pounds of DD coffee. (I gave them to my DD-crazy mom because i was too cheap to just buy the stuff for her, which in retrospect seems much worse to admit!)

I also like the Major Dickenson’s Blend from Peet's. I can pick up a lb of it at the supermarket on sale for like $8.99. It's definitely my favorite of the 'big' brands you can get at the market. Also, I think that is pretty cheap for good coffee, and I am very picky. I don't like starbucks coffee, or their beans. They over roast them, in my opinion.

I highly recommend Peet's if it is available near you.

I use a French press for very strong individual cups of coffee every morning.

If there's a Target near you, Target has some decent fair trade coffee for pretty cheap--I think between $6-7 for a 12 oz bag, both ground and whole bean.

I will be the total odd one out and say I don't drink coffee at all. I don't understand the obsession. Once a week I have to make a pot at work and I hate the smell on my hands after. Coffee does NOT agree with my stomach either

Where I'm from we have a Roaster in town for the Coffee Shops. Heritage Coffee from Juneau, AK = Amazing. It's super strong and delicious, my father-in-law sent me 3 bags of "Toasted Coconut" for my birthday.

Peet's coffee is usually $11 a bag at my grocery store, not sure if it's a full pound. It is good though.
