scientists videotaped this bird making tools to get a nut he couldnt get to. :-O

that's a dang smart bird.
at one point he realizes the splinter he has is too long for the job and you see him break it to a better length to get the nut.

i have a guinea pig that is way smarter than a guinea pig should be. she doesnt make tools but she seems to problem solve. i think she should team up with this bird.

my husband and i are horrible at regularly filling our (outside) birdfeeder.
this makes me think when the bird overlord come that we will not be dealt with kindly! :-/
