I have this super crushing headache and my period is making me unhappy. But otherwise not a terrible day, really

Whine warning.

I walked too far in a store, and now I'm in so much pain that breathing hurts. And the numb leg is driving me bananas. That was already bad after sitting in movie theater seats.

I really can't do anything. This is what happens when I leave the house to do something fun for the first time in I don't remember. This is also why I never go shopping, and when I do, I just go to the Lauren outlet or something and buy the same stuff. I can park by the door, go in, get stuff guaranteed to fit, leave. Today, I had a coupon my mom got for the Kors outlet, so thought I'd get a skirt to wear for conference day on Monday. It's not forking near any doors. Then they wouldn't take the forking coupon because apparently the code printed out on a second page. Since the coupon would have been $25 off a $59 skirt, I didn't get anything.

Icing is that I'm out of codeine until my next Dr appointment in 10 days.

This is what I get for pretending that I can do normal fun things like go to a movie and go shopping. Just as well I have nobody to do fun things with, since I'd be a waste of time (why my friends stopped going places with my before my first surgery--I couldn't do much). The teachers at work go to this mall after work sometimes and then out to dinner.

/whine over

At least Skyfall was good. The shaving scene was hot.

shaving scene.... droools. I don't ever get crushes, except on Daniel Craig. I can't even tell you why I start to get lightheaded when I see him, but holy yummers. SO HOT!

Did you see it yet? Shaving scene as hot as beach scene in Casino Royale. Possibly hotter.

I think DC's appeal is his eyes and half smirk. You can tell he has a sense of humor and doesn't take himself too seriously.

Thanks guys. It does suck. I spent 4 years pouring all my extra cash into paying off my debt and JUST paid it off a few weeks ago. I was really looking forward to saving up some money and being comfortable for once. I just hope if I am laid off I find something quick so I don't go into debt again :(

Worst thing was a woman at the gym, someone I'd never seen before, barge in on my conversation with my friend and proceed to tell me that yes some men beat their wives but it's not always the man's fault as the woman is often to blame and that it is written in [religious texts] that the wife should be subservient and if I don't like that then I shouldn't get married because the husband is allowed to beat the wife if she deserves it. Something to that effect. She had completely misinterpreted the conversation she was eavesdropping on, and pounced on one teeny little thing I said (which she took completely out of context, as the conversation had actually been about rodeos being sports of cruelty).

I went from "am I hearing this correctly???" disbelief, to being rendered speechless and flustered, to feeling really angry, to feeling sorry for her, then finally stopped at feeling depressed about it.

That's rotten TurningVioletViolet :(

My shoulder is still sore from yesterday's exercise mishap. I have a 4 hour round-trip to get Oscar the guinea pig to see a good vet this afternoon. Poor little chap has lost 1/3 of his body weight (he was a big chunky, squishy pig before so his current weight isn't dangerous) and has become argumentative and snappy, not like him at all.

My 5 cats have fleas and it's going to cost close to $100 to get them and the bunny treated. We're going to use Advantage, since that will work for the bunny. (If you have a bunny, don't use Frontline; it's dangerous to bunnies)

Probably, though those muscles don't hurt.

I know we're not supposed to talk about other people's attractiveness, but DC gives me a happy.

I gave my old lady dog her Ichon shot (to help with swelling/pain due to a slipped disc) yesterday and I may have forked it up. Last night and this morning the side where she got the shot is swollen and rigid. She doesn't seem to be in pain and is actually in a pretty good/sweet mood (which is rare, haha), plus her breathing and gums seem normal. I have a call in to the vet and it seems like just a wait-and-see sort of thing. But of course it got me thinking about how she is older and how one day all of this will catch up to us.

I requested part of my cash ISA (savings account) to be transferred to one of my other accounts. It's a 40-day notice, which means I have to request it 40 days in advance and then it goes into the account. Well, 40 days was yesterday, and I still don't have the money in my account. That was gonna be the money I spent on my trip, for which I'm leaving on Tuesday. That's £650 that just vanished, and I am freaking the fork out. I'm gonna go to the bank tomorrow if it hasn't hit my account. I really hope they didn't transpose a number and deposit my money into someone else's account.

My grandfather died on Wednesday, on the other side of the world. He was very unhappy and had poor quality of life, so it's a relief in a way but it's making me really homesick and my housemate is trying so hard to help that it's totally not forking helping. Please stop telling me how sad it is and how I should have a good cry and how hard it must be for me to not have been able to say goodbye or go to his cremation because I KNOW.

I'm not sure if this is a Massachusetts thing or an American thing, but colleges generally won't let you attend unless you have health insurance. My school has a health insurance plan for students, and I've been signing up for it every year since starting here. However, this year the school screwed up my paperwork.

I've spent the past four months thinking I've been insured, when I really haven't. In that span, I've managed to dig myself into $10,000 of medical debt, thanks to needing some specialist care during that time. I have no possible way to pay that off.

You need to see someone at your school legal advice clinic, if they have one. Can you prove they messed up the paperwork?

I handed in a writing assignment that I am not too happy with, but it would just NEVER get there. I've been working on it forever. It's still not done, and this is just a chunk, but I hate not being proud of something when it goes out to an editor.

My school doesn't have a legal clinic. I don't know if I can prove they messed up, but I just requested a copy of my bill for this semester to see if they charged me for insurance. If not, I don't think I have any way to prove that I sent in my paperwork for health insurance this year. I just don't know what to do. I can't pay it. I only make minimum wage, and am currently supporting my partner while he's out of work.

Sorry for your loss, mendelian.

Kitty woke me up at about 4 a.m. with terribly pitiful meows and growling at other cats. I had a very stressful time trying to get hold of a vet and trying to arrange for the cat to actually get to the vet (no car), his behaviour was freaking me out so much! His urinary tract was blocked. Mr. kitttyyyyyy *sadface*

Thanks, guys. My house mate really is sweet but is just a bit clueless. She bought me some flowers yesterday, so nice! They are lilies. The flower of death. Can't help but laugh?

Anyway, I'm feeling a lot better this evening. I spent some time in a park today thinking about the camping trips we had when I was little. It was nice.

Fisticuffs, I hope your kitty is ok! My old kit Hendrix used to get a blocked urinary tract all the time and it's no fun :-(
