Now that the President has been re-elected, do you think a left challenge to him (like Occupy) will re-emerge?
God, I hope so.

I'm not sure. I do know that in my town, the Occupy Movement had a fairly good relationship with the city, and was moved around a few times due to a stabbing and other random attacks in the camp. It ended up costing the city a lot of money because they had police presence, and provided fencing and lights for the occupiers, and they had to clean up the places after they moved. I hope if there is a resurgence it's more organized this time.

Occupy is still around and active, though smaller. They're currently buying debt at bargain prices and forgiving it. It's cool to see them hitting upon such an effective strategy but I wish it happened back when there was more wind in their sails. http://business.time.com/2012/11/12/the ... your-debt/

I think the whole rolling jubilee thing they are do doing is going to PUT a lot of wind back in their sails. That and Occupy Sandy are really showing the Occupy movement as a can-do and nonexclusive bunch.

I almost feel like it's going to come back, but it's not going to be called OWS. I think all of that dissatisfaction with the wealth gap and the state of the economy is still out there but a lot of people have soured on the OWS "brand."
