Oh no fezza! Keeping fingers & toes crossed for you!

Thanks SD. He texts me every day and we spend a lot of time emailing photography stuff. I'm just not sure if he only views me as a lovely new friend. It's been 3 weeks and he hasn't hit on me once, which is so unusual for dating site guys! But, he knows I'm fed up with people trying to rush me so he might just be holding back out of respect. A hint would be nice though!

A hint would be great, and its good to start off as friends! Yay for that!

It is a lovely friendship. I just like to know where I stand with people, so I don't start getting attached to someone who doesn't view me that way. I donno, for all the chatting that's going on, I just can't shake this unsettled feeling I'm getting. If we do hang again as planned at the weekend I might get a better idea of what's going on. If not, I think I'll just have to bite the bullet and ask. I'm aware of how much time our conversations take out of my day, and I don't think I want to give that much time over for too long if it doesn't have a hope of going anywhere.

Had 2 rando dates last night. I swear the nickname "Men-ver" is with good reason! Anyway...met first guy while I was hanging out at the brewery enjoying some beer on my own. Had a bit much to drink so was completely honest with him and he's still messaging me today. Second date last night was meh. Won't be contacting him again.

Today had 3rd date w/guy I face planted in front of last weekend. Definitely know now that he's really not for me. Not a bad guy, just very blah.

Come to Denver if you want dates, y'all...!

scooterdiva-- that's a lot of action! i don't understand how anyone could fit two dates into one night.

i canceled my saturday date a little last minute because i had a bad feeling about it. there were just a couple of comments i noticed on the guy's profile that seemed a bit mean-spirited. i'm glad i did; went out on the town with a friend instead and had a blast.

Ack, a person I know (and have a crush on) is actually talking to me on okc right now and my brain is exploding.

I'm officially in a lot of like with the guy from the brewery. We hung out all weekend, including going to see Obama & Dave Matthews last night at a campaign rally here. There's a lot of crushin' goin on. I just need to be patient, which is not my forte.

It's a crazy good feeling. Things are looking up!

Also, that's a pretty awesome way to hang out!

Saturday night went really well, we photographed the parade and fireworks together and kept having to nip into a bar to warm up between festival activities (the wind was baltic!). I can't tell you all how cool it is for me to get to hang out and take photographs with a date! We had both cameras sitting up on the table while we were in the bar, it was pretty awesome. It's still a bit ambiguous, but he's coming to mine tomorrow night for dinner and maybe a movie. I warned him that I didn't know if I was having an autoimmune response to a trigger at the weekend or if I had a cold, he says he'll risk it :D Oh yeah, we kept taking fits of the giggles together on Saturday night, at one point we had to try to stop looking at each other because we couldn't continue the conversation without making each other break down again.

It does feel like it could be the start of something, I just don't want to assume he's interested in more than friendship because we're enjoying hanging out together. He was really particular about rearranging dinner at mine when the first night I suggested clashed with him seeing his kids. He made sure to point out that any time he says he can't see me because of the kids, that it's not any sort of stall tactic and then gave me a list of his free times. I've gotten so used to having to fend off dating site guys I don't know how to react to one that isn't pouncing on me by the second date!

Oh hell yes, it's on!

My ex used to call me "mate" when he got drunk (how British he was was directly related to how much he'd had to imbibe), as in "listen, mate," or "I tell ya what, mate." It always made me roll my eyes, but I have to admit it was kind of endearing after a while.

Had a great date last night with the new guy!! Things are going way too well...

Uhm so I have another date with cute nerdy OKC boy tomorrow night. At a vegan restaurant. Eeeeeee.

Saw my guy thurs and sat - sat we saw the bond film and then went to a party at one of his friend's. I was honored that he wanted to introduce me to them. I really <3 him a lot and am trying my best to play it cool - it's very difficult.

I have lost all ability to play it cool, I'm completely lost in this. Not because I'm being swept off my feet, but because I've met possibly the most decent, soulful, kind, lovely man I've ever met. And, so far, he feels the same way. It's overwhelming, but yet I am not waiting for the bubble to burst this time, which is kinda freaking me out at times. Whatever happens, I'm enjoying every minute of this, it's not like anything I've ever experienced before.

He need a super secret PPK code name, SD.

Cute guy I'm still crushing on was IMing me last night. I think I'm going to have to turn the flirt up a bit. I keep wimping out. What a ritual this is.

We've been talking for 4 weeks and dating for just over two (counting our first meet as a date) and we've both commented on how the pull just gets stronger each time we see each other, it's pretty awesome.
