Am I the only one who just tried this???? Its really very very good! So much better than the shreds...I bought the jalapeno garlic and it is awesome. Im thinking of making this flavor for the next batch of brie that I make from Vegan Artisan Cheese. :)

So controversial! i don't know if you ever tried those laughing cow cheese wedges pre-vegan, but the havarti tastes exactly like that to me. i don't mind the taste, but I was expecting it to be a harder cheese. instead, it looks like they piped it into that circle shape and it's very rubbery. But, I also never liked the shreds, so maybe I shouldn't be posting.

yes, I love the baby bells/laughing cow--this is good. Will definitely buy more! Thinking I can use this to make some of that Mexican white cheese sauce that restaurants serve...as soon as I make a batch a fresh batch of chickpea chips I'll try it.

Laughing cow!! That's what it reminded me of! I jut tried the wedge a couple of days ago and it reminded me of some cheap pre-vegan cheese but I couldn't put my finger on it.

shreds > wedge!

I broke down and bought these a couple of weeks ago...man were they good! I ate the whole package in a weekend. I really liked slicing it thin and putting it between 2 corn tortillas and microwaving them for a super fast ghetto quesadilla. They also melt REALLY well on bread.

Oh, I am a fan of the shreds too. The pepperjack ones are my favorite. But the wedges are better.

I like the shreds and the wedge! The wedges are really tough to find here, but I was able to finally find them at a place!

Did anybody else expect actual little wedges in the Daiya package a la Laughing Cow? I was very confused when I opened my first package of Daiya's wedge cheese. But I suppose it's less wasteful.

(And I agree that the Daiya wedge cheese is better than the shreds.)

My friends bought it for appetizers (I've never tried daiya before--shreds or wedges--I'm just generally done with looking for a vegan cheese I can embrace) and we all thought it was outstanding! Just the wedges cut up and served on crackers like every other cheese. My friends (all omnis) were amazed at how good it was and they were choosing that over the real chedder wedges that were also available for them! Anyway, I thought this was really awesome and I'd buy it for myself to snack on.

I've still got the same package I got months ago in the freezer! Really liked it just on crackers, but I couldn't find much more applications for it. Tried it sprinkled on chili, on pizza...I think I like the shreds better. I go through that stuff much better. Plus, it's pre-shredded so I can pull some out of the freezer, slap it on some bread and have a grilled cheeze in minutes.

I don't like it as much as the shreds. It tasted really plastic to me. I ended up having to mix the whole thing into a cheesey sauce or something with a bunch of different stuff to try and mask the flavor.

I like both the wedge and the shreds. the wedge is a bit more expensive, though, so I usually stick to the shreds.
