Just made this lovely Wellington that I'll be making again in Thanksgiving. It was really delicious, so I thought I'd share. Recipe/method here.

I can almost hear Gordon Ramsay yelling in the background.

That looks nice.

Whenever I see a wellington being made on tv, I immediately think of Gordon Ramsey yelling too!

Bwahaha, oh Chef Ramsay. Had beef wellington on a cruise once and it made me gag. I'd love to revisit it at home and as a vegan some day. Yours certainly looks appealing!

That looks great!! I saw a beef wellington on Masterchef that also had a wrapping of crepes (after the duxelles, before the pastry), so that's what I'm going to try for my Christmas seitan roast, with a chestnut stuff in the middle too.

Make sure you share the recipe, Karena. :-)

Erin, that Wellington recipe and the accompanying photos are cookbook-worthy (as is the rest of your blog)!

I'm having four* and it's still not enough!

*one is a catered lunch at work so I'm making my own food to eat, one is the obligatory family thanksgiving where it's too annoying to bring everything i want, one is the big everything-i-want-to-make hoopla, and the last is a potluck with veg friends who resent being forced to spend the holiday with vegphobic family.
