My mom asked me to bake her a dozen cupcakes for a co-worker's birthday. I made four dozen, plus some brownies. There's a vegan in her office (way cool!), so this is all secretly for her, not so much for the omni birthday person.

Image
vanilla cake, chocolate frosting, topped with crushed up chick-o-sticks

Image
spice cake, vanilla frosting, and snickerdoodle crumbs (from a huge batch of failed snickerdoodles! I now have a gallon sized bag full of snickerdoodle shards)

Image
chocolate cake, some with peanut butter frosting and ganache drizzle, some with just ganache

Image
brownies

This one from vegweb: http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=23281.0

I added about a teaspoon of instant coffee.

They look incredible. I like the first ones, they look kinda Halloweeny with the orange balls.

Have you ever eaten (pregan) a Butterfinger? They taste just like the crunchy peanut butter insides of those.

Those brownies look absolutely perfect. What recipe did you use? I also enjoy how many cupcakes you have.

vegan, it's true) and i'd still love to sit down and eat these.
