Up to Season 6 now. The move to UPN messed up my viewing order (I'm watching this and Angel at the same time) and I'm sad there won't be any crossovers. Also sad that there's nary a Giles to be seen. And that we have Spike talking about torment—and not in the tormenting-others-is-fun sense.
The MoFo idea discussed pages and pages ago sounds awesome. I really hope someone makes an empowering lemon bundt at some point.

So if anyone wants to do that as a group project, that would be cool. The third issue of my zine was supposed to be Buffy themed so I already have a lot of ideas to contribute. I'm doing a TV Theme, and Sundays are Buffy days. I haven't pinned down exactly what I'm doing for Buffy Sundays, but I have a list of 5 just in case I can't think of some better ones to replace some of the crappier ones. To be clearer, my theme is food that was in television shows, not food inspired by them. So for example, I'm doing Doublemeat Palace Burgers for Buffy and not, say, Graveyard Gravy or something. However, I do think I'm going to do something inspired by the best line in the S1 finale. But if a couple other people would be in on the group project of a just Buffy MoFo, I could contribute as well. this is the best thing ever.

I totally missed the talk about a group Buffy blog last year! For Mofo this year I'm doing all Buffy-themed food, except once a week I'm going to do food from other Whedon projects. So far I've done cookie dough and blueberry scones, and it is just going to get more ridiculous as the month progresses. I'm stoked.

Thanks lepelaar!
The other night I made pizzas a la Ted ("after you bake it, you fry it in herbs and olive oil"), and damn that shiitake was good.

My crush and I are watching Buffy together when we hang out, and he's not seen the later seasons before so it's awesome watching with someone who's seeing it for the first time. And the other night we got to my favorite episode... The one where you get to see spike as William the Bloody for the first time, and get sired... Oooh my gawd. I forking love the shiitake out of that episode.

Rewatching "Something Blue" at the moment. Love it. It's not my favorite episode, but it's maybe the one I rewatch the most.
Ima go back and watch "Pangs" on Thanksgiving.

Watching Pangs is like my third favorite Thanksgiving tradition, after stuffing and green bean casserole. I did a Pangs-themed post for mofo.

I have to say, I can never watch The Body. It's too hard to pick fave eps, but I know my fave season is season 5. I love Glory, she's so funny. I know she's evil and all that but damn is she fun to watch.

I meant to add in more about The Body, lol. Got distracted by Glory. The Body gets me every single time, it breaks my heart. Always has, always will

The body is the best television program I've ever seen by a fair margin. I cried and was dazed for the rest of the day after watching it. That said, I've only watched it once and will probably never watch it again... it's just too much.

My nan is fine, she had surgery to clamp it so it won't burst, but the episode still gets to me. Just can't do it, can't watch. I will re-watch all seven seasons but I always skip that episode.

I'm the only child of a single parent, so I think that's why it gets me. I am now married and have my own family, but if my mom had died when I was Buffy's age it would have been like losing my whole world.

My nan raised me, it's been just me and her for as long as I can remember, and watching that ep just terrifies me even now.

Last night I had a friend over who confessed that she had never even seen one full episode of Buffy, ever. Then she (!) suggested watching OMWF. (Yesss.) Afterwards she just sat there and said, "Wow". :D

How can anyone seriously be disappointed by Buffy?! (Not counting Riley.) No. Believe me. I know her. She'd love it. Of course at some point she'll get kind of impatient to watch OMWF again, but who won't.

I'm currently midway through season 2 with a previous Buffy virgin. He LOVES it. He has a crush on Kendra, and keeps asking when she's coming back..... I haven't the heart to break to it to him, so I'm waiting for Faith's appearance to answer his question.
