Hola everyone
This is absolutely not a vegan related thread, but you are the only foodies I come flocking too when I need a heads up.
Does anyone have any ideas, from their own or their friends/family's experiences, of a good online sugar-free/diabetics shop, and in particular, awesome treats to get?
My brother's girlfriend has a whole host of medical issues that are controlled by her diet. Amonst other things, she cannot eat any processed sugar, or anything high in natural sugars. Maple syrup, sadly, is the ultimate no-no. (I know! How does she get up in the mornings?!)
I'd love to get her a bunch of food treats for Christmas - I know they're both broke, and I'd be over-the-moon if someone gave me a basket full of vegan treats (hola,
food swap!)
My brother is compiling me a list of foods she can't eat, so everything will be checked ingredients wise before it goes in my basket, but other than that, he is the worse source of ideas. So fire away, peeps - inspire me with sugar free fun fun fun!
