I think the Westsoy is better this year. Food Fight has it in stock and the EB nog which is my nog o' choice. I am considering coming up with some sort of peppermint chocolate cookie recipe to fully immerse myself in the peppermint chocolate experience.

Let's celebrate with toast and pepperment cocoa. Maybe the Wild Arugula Cafe will host a party. I have to go run some errands right now, but I'll get things up and running at the restaurant when I get back. Or, any one who works there is free to go ahead and get things started before I get back. Maybe we can even steve some chocolate peppermint toast to please everyone, well except for the chocolate peppermint haters.

I know I wasn't the only one tempted to fling a slice of toast at the computer screen, right?

You guys better stop with the toast, it's giving me cravings I can't satisfy for another four hours.
I've bought some Silk nog, and I'm pumped to drink it! I have a lot of love for nog so it's taking a lot to wait til Thursday but for the sake of having any left by then I'll wait.

i bought some Silk Egg Nog a week or so ago and it tasted way creamier and "real" than i remember. it was quite good. that being said ive only had 2 glasses since i bought it.
i shall raise my glass of soy nog in this toast. if i ever finish this carton i think i shall invest in some of this peppermint chocolatey goodness

Westsoy was on the sale at Whole Foods this weekend for $2 a carton. Now we're having a debate over whether it's better hot or cold.

Also spotted at Whole Foods: Whole Foods brand peppermint oreo/jo jos. Look vegan. Taste to be determined.

When I was in NYC I went to a Trader Joe's for the first time ever for the specific and sole purpose of getting candy cane joe-joes. They had none. I has a sad.

I think the EB milks can be difficult to find. have not checked for jojos yet but I will doing so soon. I also meant above that the Westsoy is better than it was last year, not that it is better than Vitasoy.

My local store only has So Good coconut nog/chocolate mint and Silk nog/chocolate mint. Silk is Big Ag badness that funded a campaign against a Proposition I supported in California, so no go there. And while the So Good is okay, it has a strong stevia aftertaste that I dislike.
I'm going by another health food store tonight though, so I'll see what else I can pick up!

Three hoorahs to minty chocolatey drinks! This thread inspired me to craft my own, since I have no such pre made one.

I'm pretty against mint and chocolate concoctions, but can I join in with spiced (and maybe spiked) cider and maybe some nog?
