I've got a game for all the potentially bored and lonely people out there. It's pretty simple. You list three "facts" about yourself. Two of them are the truth, and one is a lie. The first person to identify the lie gets to list the next three "facts."

I'll start.

1. I was arrested at Occupy Wall Street for knocking over a police barrier.

2. I met President Bush when I was in middle school and told him it was free cone day at Ben & Jerry's.

3. One of the first set of breasts I saw belonged to the granddaughter of the dictator of Liberia.

I dont believe you've met George Bush.

That one's true, actually. He came to my hometown for Earth Day in the early 2000s. I shook his hand and he told me he couldn't go to Ben and Jerry's because he was on a diet or the Secret Service wouldn't let him. I don't remember which one he actually said. I've told the story so many times both ways.

Any other guesses? You're down to a 50-50 shot now. One guess per person. :)

I am going to guess the second one is a lie.


1.) one time while biking my glasses fell off of my face and were crushed under a truck
2.) I once stepped on a razor blade and it was embedded in my foot for over three months
3.) once when I was a teenager I was yelled at from across the entirety of love park in philadelphia by a police officer who was convinced I was trying to sneak in there to skate.

that's a true one! it was sharp enough that I didn't notice it was in there, the cut healed, then three months later it got infected and I had to go to the hospital!

1. My grandpa was a nuclear engineer safety officer at a power plant that had significant safety/leak issues. He never talked about it.
2. I wrote Star Trek TNG fanfic with my friends in high school biology instead of listening to the teacher.
3. I spent 6 months at sea around the western coast of Africa in the first years of my career.
