Cardigans and good boot socks! It's so cold in my house. I really want my dad to sew a fleece poncho for my boyfriend. He made one each for my sister and I a few years ago, and Austin always wears mine.

I would love pretty curtains for our place. I bought some cheap curtains from Target and cut them in half and made them into shorter curtains (our house has electric floor heaters under the windows, thus short curtains), and I kind of hate them. They're plain blue and make the room too dark. Those, and rugs would be awesome. Why are pretty rugs so expensive?!

Same, but for my ballet studio rather than yoga. I am loving it so much, but it really doesn't fit too well into my budget.

If my sisters want to buy me something they can get a new scratching post for Puddy. Jay spent gazillions on our wedding bands so he gets a free pass.

I expect my cat to buy me a vita-mix. I hope she's been saving up.

Most of what I would like doesn't work well as gifts. I know people hate giving cash and gift cards, but I don't need extra stuff just for the sake of unwrapping an actual present. Mainly I'd love gift cards to my yoga studio, some maternity clothes since I only have a few pairs of regular pants that I can still get away with, and if somebody wanted to be really generous, a vitamix.

I asked for some Herbivore shirts, some books and movies, and money so I can renew my subscription to my professional organization.

My family will not operate without a wishlist, so I just put lots of vegan items and stuff from etsy on my amazon wishlist, in a variety of prices so i'm not just asking for $30 organic shirts and what not, which basically forces them to support small businesses (and I make sure to delete any dvds or I know i'll just get dvds).

This is my wishlist so far this year.

I wanted some flannel-lined jeans, but it appears that they don't make them in my size.

Also check motorcycle shops.

I have some really thin Champion cold weather running leggings that I wore under jeans to ride. Toasty, toasty, toasty. They fit under my normal sized jeans. I think they were $20 at Target.

I asked my parents for a Matt and Nat handbag (perfect timing since they've only just been imported here!) and some cookbooks (The Conscious Cook, Olive Trees and Honey, and the Voluptuous Vegan). I asked my brother for either a new hairdryer or an electric spice grinder, and I let Boyfriend know that I wouldn't mind one of those heart rate monitor watches. But we usually get each other pretty good stuff without having to ask for it, so I'm sure whatever he decides on will be pretty spot-on. I would also love this necklace!

Vegan cookbooks, Asimov books... that's it. I'm sure I'll think of some more stuff. In my extended family, only the kids get gifts, so I'm expecting something nice from my husband, and some stuff our parents think we need (usually good stuff, last year we got a fire blanket!).

I've had the same amazon wishlist for years and I just add to it throughout the year when I see something I want but don't want to buy. It saves me the headache of being put on the spot for what I want. AND I have to be surprised, I don't like knowing what I'm going to get exactly. So I have approximately 800 things on this list so that the three people that shop off of it can get it right.

My family tries to do it too but they're wishlist amateurs and always add like 3 things on christmas eve and then claim the whole thing sucks.

My brother and my dad invested a lot of time in taking apart and putting my car back together a few months ago when part of the clutch disintegrated rather unexpectedly. My dad even bought the replacement parts. I've been trying to convince them that I don't need/want anything because they've already done so much.

I would really like Santa to hook me up with a nice hotel room with one of those huge soaking tubs though. I want to take one of those cliche chick baths with candles and a glass of wine.

We aren't doing gifts this year. At least not traditionally. I think we may do a white elephant sort of thing.

But man, would I love that jacket in the second post. Gorgeous.

I've got a few running lists on Pinterest just because family constantly ask what I want, and if I say "nothing," I'll still get something. So I pin things when I think of them! Mostly just kitchen gadgets and cookbooks. A new coat would be cool, since all of mine are too big, but I don't really want/need anything.

I have a bunch of stuff on my Amazon wish list, but I already know that my mom is getting me an espresso maker with accessories (tamper, demitasse cups, etc.) and my brother is getting me a waffle iron, one like they have at hotels where you put the batter in and then flip the handle to turn the cooking surface over so the batter can evenly distribute itself. Other things include some cookbooks, beads for my charm bracelet, a Tag Heuer (ha!), a pasta roller and ravioli maker, artwork for some of the bare walls in my apartment, a panini press thing, and a bunch of jewelry and other miscellaneous items.

As always, the three P's: piggie, pony, piano. But of course, I live in the city, so there will be no piggie or pony, and I don't really have the space for a piano until our basement is finished. So instead, my mama is buying me a cookware set in hopes that I will be moving out in the summer.
