I had leftover Chinese food which was mostly protein (sweet and sour gluten and fried tofu), and I could actually get used to this protein-in-the-morning thing. I feel energized.

I just ate cheezy grits (no recipe...just winged it with some leftover cheezly) and biscuits and gravy from Vegan Diner. I'm in carb/salt overload land right now, but it was so good. I can't freakin believe how easy it is to make biscuits.

Old standby. . . oatmeal with cocoa powder, sugar, and PB. And coffee, of course (pumpkin spice coffee. . . yum. . . ).

Sourdough toast with apricot jam, some vanilla soy yogurt, and decaf coffee with creamer. A very sweet breakfast for me, but it was quite tasty.

Apple-cinnamon oatmeal with PB, and a cup of the incredibly strong black metal sludge coffee that my roommate made. I never ever get sick of oatmeal + coffee for breakfast.
