Does anyone else get super depressed before their period?
Like half a week before my period everything starts making me feel sad and I want to cry. I use to not actually cry though. Just feel really shitty for a few days and snuggle my cat a lot. But, since I went on bc in August, it's just gotten worse. A lot worse. And this time was an all time low. I literally have been balling daily since Thursday over things that normally would just make me be like "blahhhh". My poor boyfriend probably thinks I'm crazy about now....
Oh, and I've had cramps all day and have like zero energy physically.
So that's my bisque about my period. I hate my ovaries. And birth control. Ugh.

Simply_Love I get that way some months for a day or so. It didn't happen to me until I got off bc so I was really confused the first few months!
I got back cramps 2 days ago and then this morning the regular cramps signaled the arrival of my period. At work for 2 more hours and then I can go rock climbing to try to make it all hurt less. At least I'm not nauseous this time, but the cramps are hurty and I'm SO tired!

I started spotting a week early and now my ovaries hurt. My period hasn't officially started yet, I think. I don't know. I hate weird months. I'm on the pill and my period shouldn't be this funky. I start a new pill on Sunday so hopefully that'll help.

Back cramps. Seriously, the one day a year I cook, I could at least be cramp free.

So, I got my period today. This is a BIG development because I haven't had a period on my own in probably 3 years. I have been to the doctor about it and been prescribed hormone pills to induce it twice, but have not been taking hormones on a regular basis. I just kind of gave up on it and figured I just wouldn't have periods anymore. (I'm 25.)
Today, randomly, it's back! What the fork! I don't even know what caused it. Nothing has really changed, except I started dieting again because I noticed I'd gained a couple of pounds. So I've been eating a little less, but all the same foods. I'm not taking any new supplements or anything.
I'm so confused, but happy I guess? I wonder if this is just a one time thing.

I've had enough.
Stupid period has been lining up with monthly inventory for the last several months. Either I'm a raging bisque from PMS, or I'm leaking all over the place like this month. It's mostly just obnoxious, but today was pretty bad. My diva cup has been leaking a lot lately, so I've been mostly wearing tampons the last couple months. But I hate them. And I forgot them today. Someone earlier in the thread suggested trying the larger size, so I bought that one as soon as I got to work. Nope. Did not work. I suspect the cup was sitting too high in my vaginal canal, so there wasn't enough suction to hold anything in. I probably changed it 6 times in 3 hours before I gave up and bought another pack of tampons. But the tampons weren't working either! WHAT THE WHAT? Then at work, in addition to the general leaking through the pantyliner onto my pants, a big glob somehow made its way to the fly of my jeans. This is, of course, after I crime-scened all over the bathroom at home this morning. Not cool, body. Not cool!
I have to go to the gyno next month (note to self: set up appointment tomorrow!), so I'll ask her what is going on then. This is getting so annoying.

Very, very glad that I decided to try a different brand of cup a few months ago, and therefore have a spare cup which lives at my mum's house. I knew I was likely to start bleeding during the 3 days I was away from my flat, but it was only when I got to Mum's house that I remembered that meant I should bring something to deal with it. And then I panicked because I thought I had taken the spare cup home with me a while ago after a surprise period when visiting a previous time, but luckily I had returned it so all was well.

I didn't want to have my period when we were on vacation a couple weeks ago, so I finished my one BC pill pack and started another right away. I guess that's a stupid thing to do, because I ended up having my period a week later anyway, mid-pack, and went off the pills and am just finishing the worst period I've had in a long time, complete with ruining a bed sheet set, the bathroom mat, actually feeling the "glorp" feeling happen when I stand up and all this blood starts pouring out of me. oh, and feeling like I could murder someone.

I just wish I would get my period! Haven't had it in a REALLY long time, and can't figure out why. I've had blood tests, an MRI, an ultrasound, etc. And I don't think my body fat is too low - I'm relatively thin but definitely not a waif. I always hated getting my period but now that it's mysteriously absent, I'm really frustrated.

Period started the day before my husband (who has been in the field for two months) got to come home for thanksgiving and stopped the day after he left. What the fork? I am very angry at my va-jay-jay. Buuuut. I tried those disposable "softcups" just going to say I think they're now amazing and don't ever want to use tampons again. Plus, i'm now more inclined to invest the money in one of those diva cups (didn't want to spend the money and not like it).
By the By, Cramping = Stupid.

I'm sick and got my period today. So I have a headache, nausea, stomach cramps, and menstrual cramps. The stomach cramps are doubled-over-in-pain bad, and the period cramps are extra painful this month, too. I hate everything right now.

So after a year and a half of pretty okay periods, like my cramps have been more annoying than blindly painful (and i'm not counting crazy period zits or bloating or sore nipples), last month and this month (rightthefucknow) are AWFUL. Like I want to puke and/or cry from pain. I'm scared to even put my diva cup in because I know that'll make it worse (but i'll have to before bed since i'm wearing my only cloth pad that I can find).
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Sometimes my hoo-hah gets sore or achy during my period. Any suggestions on relief? I don't have a bathtub. I've been taking Ibuprofen, but it isn't really helping. :(

saw something on the internet the other day
"being a woman is metal as hell: once a month I bleed for a week and all I want to do is fight fork or eat. singing songs about the mountains of norway aint shiitake, try shedding your uterine lining: that's metal."

I was a week late but I still experienced bloating and constipation that whole week. My period finally started today and all I can say is frakking OW!!! I took the day off, had a Freaks and Geeks marathon, and ate half a jar of pickles.

Mine is almost two weeks late...if I still have no sign by Thursday I will buy a test, but seriously...I was doing so well at finally being regular!
