Has anyone heard of these guys before? Do they have much of a profile in the UK?

I was clicking around on peter singers http://www.thelifeyoucansave.com/ and found it on the list of charities there.

I heard about them from the same site. I tried to do some research, but I didn't come up with much beside their own site. I couldn't find any charity reviews. I love the concept of feeding people without harming animals, unlike all that Heifer International BS. My own local food bank where I volunteer is giving away thousands of turkeys this year, and it's making me all queasy and conflicted.

I'm a fan. I donated once and probably will again.

I don't know a lot about the organisation, just what I read in that book, but it sounds like a great idea. That book really got me thinking.

It's being going a very long time, but without people who are good at designing websites having much input.

Yeah...its a pretty horrible page!

Someone who is good page design should donate their time to make it better. I'm sure they'd take it.

It sounds good though, and I need to put together a list of places to donate. I've been lazy about this in the last few years and have just done the "stuff a $5 in a jar" at an event type donations, and its time to get regular about it.
