If you're a coffee drinker, you can add a couple of shots of coffee to your green smoothie. Usually my smoothies are only sweetened with banana, coffee obviously adds bitterness so in that case I either add yogurt or a splash of creamer, but after that I really can't tell it's in there.

Matcha is great in there too! For those who do a non-coffee boost!

oh! i haven't had great success with kale in g. smoothies - is it because i haven't been removing the stems??? does everyone remove the stems? i don't know why i didn't think to, because i always remove them for cooking or salads!
