Anyone know if TJ has good deals on sunflower seeds? I've been going through those like crazy thanks to the PPK blog sunflower cheeze sauce.

I got a sweet package of TJs goodies from gaia13 in exchange for a cookbook I sent her - I got chile spiced mango, lentil crunchy curls, salt & pepper dark chocolate and sea salt & turbinado sugar dark chocolate covered almonds - all so good! I've made a pretty big dent in all of them already :)

Do you remember how much? Going to TJ is a royal pain in the asparagus. A few minutes to get there, over an hour to get back! I guess I can plan a trip for a week from Tuesday. I need to stock up on the cheap repackaged Amy's enchiladas and burritos.

I am the proud owner of 6 boxes of Candy Cane Joe Joe's.
Also, Black Cherry Gel Cups. Yum.

I went to Trader Joe's the other night and spent most of the time picking up delish sounding Christmas stuff and putting it back down when I read contains milk or/and eggs. Bummer.
They did have both the soy creamery in stock. I was going to get one but could not make up my mind and just got both. They tend to run out for a few weeks at a time so I figured what the heck.
My mom got me some of the black pepper and salt dark chocolate. I love her for it (and you know, she is my mom and all.) The texture was not what I expected. They did a great job on that.

LW, you might also check to see if you have a MOM on your commute or near your work. Their bulk pricing is pretty good and they might have sunflower seeds in bulk.

I had totally forgotten about the afterdinner mints!
Having a TJ's near me is totally blowing my budget. I can drive by on the way from the park instead of having to plan a special trip.

It's on the same street as TJ. TJ has a close parking garage though. I'll see if MOM is somewhere I can walk to. Thanks for the tip.

I didn't know the After Dinner Mints were vegan...I just assumed they wouldn't be. Now I wish I'd looked!
I did get the Chocolate Liqueur Cherries though and they are delicious.

I am curious about the chocolate liquer cherries, but our Trader Joe's doesn't have them. Probably because of the liquer thing--stupid Tennessee.

KY makes them maintain the separate entrance for the wine shop, but the liqueur cherries were in the regular store.

Oh my god. I wish I had known about those liqueur cherries when I went earlier tonight!
I did get one of the chocolate oranges, though. YESSSSSSS.

I ate one of those cherries and it tasted like there was nail polish remover bursting from it into my mouth. Granted, I'm not a drinker.

I know I'm late to the party on this one... but the Sunflower Seed Butter is beyond amazing and I want to put it on EVERYTHING. I can see why it had been sold out the last two times I tried to buy it!

Has anyone tried the Cinnamon Spice tea? It's in a tin like the Pumpkin Spice (but red). I almost got it, but I was afraid it'd be less chai and more Red Hots.

The candy cane tea? I don't hoard many TJ's items, but I do hoard that. I still have a box left from last year.
