I guess I intend this thread to be an offshoot of "Effective Vegan Messaging." Post quotes of famous people making comparisons between animals and humans here. I don't mean it to be controversial. (If mods feel that it's too controversial, feel free to take it down). I just find these comparisons to be illuminating, whether I always agree with them or not.
Here's one I really enjoy. It's from George Orwell, explaining the origin of his book "Animal Farm." Emphasis mine.
