Steamed beets and beet greens with shiitake miso gravy and roasted kabocha squash with microplaned parmesan cheezly. I also fried up a Tofurky sausage for my boyfriend, but those things gross me out so much these days.

Just wanted to share that I put a winter squash in the oven for roasting! I also separated out the seeds, cleaned them, salted them and I'm testing my new silpat with roasting them as well.

The squash is a type of pumpkin from new zealand:

Marinara with fresh basil, some ages-old dried linguine from the pantry, homemade breadsticks, romaine salad. Carby goodness.

Some crappy assortment of plain vegetables, probably, at Ruth's Chris. Company Christmas dinner. Sad times.

I have no idea, but am very excited! I am going over to my only fairly local veg friend's house for dinner, and I haven't hung out with her for a couple of years. Plus she has promised to fill me with wine and I will get to canoodle with her pussycats :)

My spouse made noodles with eggplant, mushrooms, and tofu. It turned out very good and satisfied the noodle craving I've been having.

I really wanted a filled puri so we ordered some food. Our regular Indian take-away place was closed so we tried a vegetarian place we've not ordered from before. The chickpea puri was good, although it had way too much chili in it for my tastes, but the potatoes in the aloo puri were raw, as they were in the veg balti. The roti was cold and tough. We threw most of the meal away and left the place appropriate feedback.

An avocado with Kosher salt & pepper, and a shiitake ton of clementines. I'm on my way to eating an entire box in two days.
