Tonight's episode was a whole bunch of shiitake I don't care about, and I am so sick of Dean and Sam not getting along, and I can't believe I have to wait 5 weeks for the next episode when the preview almost gave me a stroke because we're going to get back to the Crowley tablet stuff, and getting heavy into the heaven stuff with Cas and Naomi, and just, ugh.

I like this season but I wish they would stick to one major story line and have the others as minor subplots. It feels like there's no structure, just hopping around to one problem to the next. And I don't like Cas being the vestigial tail of the trio. It looks like they're waiting until after hiatus to get with the good stuff.

Jim Beaver was on Dexter, and I just kept squeaking "OMGITSBOBBY!" I could barely follow his plotline because I was waiting for Dean and Sam to gank Dexter.

I'm still mad at season 7 for Bobby. But I asked for it for xmas anyway and totally worth it for Jensen singing!

Plus this season isn't actually as bad as I remember. Although I'm still mad about Bobby. Did I mention that?

I can tell how much this series has gone downhill by the lack of enthusiasm on this thread, myself included. I did enjoy the latest episode. I'm glad they ended the Sam/Amelia storyline. I didn't like her much and I couldn't see how she would fit into the series. I'm kind of hoping the end the Benny storyline also, I can't see how that can continue. Can't he just rob a blood bank? Does Dean really need to travel cross country every time Benny gets hungry?

I feel like Dean is being a huge dick about Amelia, like with that offhand comment about how "I just can't separate myself from the job like you can." Is he forgetting about how Sam was in hell that time and he took the whole year off and lived with that lady and kid??? And only came back to hunting when Sam showed up again back from the dead? If I were Sam I would be throwing that back in his face constantly.

As it is, I think both brothers have been somewhat dickish, but in some ways they're communicating better? Maybe?
