One of these is my major ex, the others are all guys I actively interact with and am crushing on in real everyday life. Never mind all the past crushings I could go on about. Jerrold Jeffery Josh Another Josh Jake Jesse Joel Jason

So I haven't really talked to the archaeologist since Thanksgiving, and I'm trying to decide if I should ask if he wants to go out again. I'm just way more socially awkward and overly analytical than I care to admit. So, instead, I'm trying to divert my attention to another guy. He's a regular at my work and we got matched up on a dating site by coincidence. He's this tall, bearded, feminist hottie who has a thing for bird watching. But he does environmental consulting so he's always driving around California at weird asparagus hours.
This is definitely the winter of me being attracted to guys with completely opposite schedules from mine. Boo.

I bought some horseradish pickles at the deli today (they smell so forking good) and work crush got them for me. I noticed that even when the other guy is working at the counter, and even if work crush is busy doing something else, he always comes over to get me whatever I'm ordering. Tomorrow is "the day" but I was as sweet as I could be ordering pickles and flirted a teensy bit.
The crazy part? Before, I was feeling pretty scared about asking him out tomorrow, kinda like I was walking toward my death or something. Now,I'm not worried at all; I'm thinking, why be scared? I'm forking adorable. I like him and I think he likes me, and even if I'm wrong, I have to do this. I think it'll be good for me no matter what he says.

GCZ, regardless of what he says, you're going to be way more bad-ass and awesome for doing it! (But, self-confidence is hot and I'm sure you are right about being forking adorable so he's bound to say yes, or be majorly missing out!) I'm excited about people asking people on dates!

I wish women asked men out more. That's definitely part of the feminist future I'm looking forward to.

Ermehgerd. Crush has given many signals he'd like to sleep with me. This is a bad idea. But man, I want to. I don't need more than that, I just want to play! What to do, what to do....
