That would be really weird, because the first place is in an upscale yuppity conservative area, and the other is run by a bunch of tattooed college kids. I don't think that's it, though, two of the complaints were from suit-and-tie men, and one was from a woman I didn't even meet - I took her instructions over the phone.

I spent all day at work thinking it was Thursday. The sucky thing is that I have two more days to work, but the good part is that I got so much done today in a blind panic that I am a day ahead of the game.

This is a good idea! Tonight I am just eating canned tomato soup but "help me figure out what to make with this" thread is a good idea.

I feel like maybe it could be non-rich people expect more for there money? If that makes sense? Like $50 grooming is just a normal expense for someone who has the money, but someone who $50 is a lot they expect like special foo foo.

Creep, did you replace someone who has been there a while? Maybe they just want it exactly they way it was before?

The day is still not over and I'm still not done with things that need to be done before I go to bed.

I find when people are getting their dogs groomed they are either happy that the nightmare of Mr Fluffy being dirty is over with and pretty much anything will do, or the total opposite and they're not happy if their dogs aren't exactly like that picture in the magazine or like the person who worked there 10 years ago. Then there are the people that think they know what a "sport clip" is when they actually wanted a puppy cut. But very, very rarely are they complaining for any real reason. Do you know what the complaints were or were you just told that there were complaints with no specifics?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I still have 3 dozen cookies and 3 dozen cupcakes to bake before I can go to bed :(

Feeling excited and also had an idea I need to get down. Monday night I'm making Boca burgers with horseradish pickles on top. I'm afraid to eat the pickles by themselves and this is the solution. Also, I totally just remembered I bought Munchos today, which means I'm covered for snacks, woo.

Gonna ask a boy out tomorrow! And make money at the same time! I'm so industrious.

It is. And the only thing worse than the crippling exhaustion is the fact that baking at night is so lonely. I wish I had someone to keep me company - they wouldn't even have to talk, just steal bites of raw cookie dough while listening to The Nerdist and drinking hot tea and eating whoopie pies.

I'm on my way! I will be up late sewing.

Perfect! I will boil the kettle.

I will bring the Ru Paul holiday music. We will hang dalek ornaments on the poopietoddler.

If by party you mean frantically bake and sew for orders, then yes, we will get down.

CQ, you'll have to take the party over for me, because I am going to bed. Four dozen cookies, three dozen cupcakes, two layer cakes, three dozen brownies, one dozen whoopie pies, one dozen cookie sandwiches, and one pie in the last 36 hours (after spending two days on these). All I have to do tomorrow is bake 13 dozen cookies, which sounds pretty easy to me right now.
