Not sure if you like the boots or not. These aren't quite right, but getting close.

these are cute. do you have them? they're not quite right (as you say), but they give me hope! what i really want are the red strappy platform sandals, like the ones at the top of this post: http://www.treehugger.com/sustainable-p ... think.html
or these: http://magnifeco.com/swedish-hasbeens-r ... eco/women/

ndpittman, i swear that somehow we are both going to end up with vegan hasbeens. we've been lusting after them for too long!

I don't have them. I may or may not regularly go "shopping" on Zara.com--browsing the site and pinning stuff to my Pinterest board. It seems to scratch an itch, so I just go with it. :)

Comfortable, supportive, really stylish vegan penny loafers. The only non-leather penny loafers I've seen have been ugly and looked cheap and uncomfortable.

Totally crunchie. And also chocolate malt balls. And a Cadbury flake bar.

I also wish there was a vegan version of those fancy and expensive and flakey and buttery cheese twists. I remember when I was a kid telling my mum that they were the most delicious things I had ever eaten. I could probably make passable ones with substitutes but I kind of hate baking and the only vegan cheese I could see working is Cheezly.

You can make Crunchie in your mouth with a bite each of cinder toffee and chocolate. There are also a couple of commercial options. I can't remember what the one I tried was called, but there are the mini bars on this page - http://www.moofreechocolates.com/dairy- ... e/products

I reckon it'd be easy to make the twists with some commercial puff pastry and a cheesy spread made out of marge, nooch, yeast ex and mustard or something like that, following instructions for making palmiers or pinwheels.

The first ones are RIGHT ON- I'm confused though because they look like the other boots I've had my eye on from Madden Girl. http://www.zappos.com/madden-girl-sangu ... is#prdInfo

I'm all about the contrast stitching so I just wish the black ones had standout stitching like the brown. I'd be on that shiitake. Might get the brown ones anyway. Thanks!!

And a super shiny clear lip gloss that sticks well to lips. Extra points if it's minty.
