Linanil, when do we get to see your photo? Maybe this sounds super creepy, but I search members' posts for "user image" and "PPK wear" to see if they've contributed to either of the photo threads. I like to have an idea of who I'm talking to. And you've got nothing!! No pressure though.
Dude, trust that instinct.

Jonny if it makes you feel better I posted a picture just for the reason you stated. I'm new, trying to jump in on conversations, and just wanted people to know who they were talking to. :)
So, I pretty much wear the same thing every day. All black, various band tshirts, and even all black chucks. I'm 30 and still dress like I did when I was 15. I don't think I'll ever change. Like my parents' pink bathroom? Ha.
Sorry this is so big. Im new and have no idea how to make it smaller.
hi you're cute and I like your tattoos a lot

i love your blue leopard print, amajorrecords!
Thank you! My tattoo artist wants to mess with it some more. She has been fixing some horrible leopard print I got ages ago. A lot of my arm is cover ups from being a dumb 18 year old. My less visible tattoos are my better ones. Go figure.

Dressing like an adult is silly. Today I woke up 4 minutes before my first class, so floor-jeans, the first shirt I touched, and my rhinestone-encrusted round-toed cowboy boots that I've had since I was 13 it was. It was super classy, especially the whole buttoning my shirt as I walked down the hall of my dorm thing.
Floor jeans are a regular part of my wardrobe, and I always wake up hours before I have class, because I commute. Own it!

I wear either black Ralph Lauren (this is 80% of my wardrobe) or the rattiest most comfy soft cotton pjs ever. There is very little in between. I like preppy goth stuff*, but most of my clothes that currently fit don't really reflect this right now. I need to either lose weight or find money to go shopping. probably losing my post back surgery weight would be best as I don't need it.
Days I don't work, I just put on clean ratty pjs after shower.
Yesterday I wore a black corduroy skirt, black button down, black cami with the wonderful, amazing, fabulous, best thing ever crystal bead and copper bat necklace that kmouse made. My students tell me that I wear black too much.

Oh, floor-jeans (and floor-shirts, floor-bras, floor-socks, floor-sweaters, etc.) are a staple of my wardrobe, but these had been floor-jeans for awhile and could have been ready to become laundry-hamper jeans.

Dang! I'm impressed. I can't walk in heels at all! Are you a florist? I used to work at a floral shop back in the day. I kind of miss it (but not on vday or mothers day).

Just to chime in on the dressing-like-an-adult topic:
One of the things that I love so much about working in music and being a cook is that I either wear a uniform or that no one cares what I wear as long as it's practical. I always felt like I was choking and/or partaking in a fancy dress party whenever I had to dress up like an adult with blouses and heels and skirts and all. I can't move in that stuff, it limits the use of my body and it's impractical. And I can't ride my bike in a dress skirt.
I'm wearing men's clothes most of the time now, because they're so damn comfy. I never thought that this would matter so much to me, but that freedom to wear what I want to is something I actively enjoy now I have it, actually.
