I kind of feel uncomfortable asking for help, but we desperately need it. I know you creative types exist here, so I thought I'd reach out and ask for help. The Chico Cat Coalition is crumbling. They have 60 cats under their care, and two members on the board who are running the sanctuary into the ground. There are big plans to have them kicked out (unfortunately we have to wait until March.) In the meantime, because of poor management, the CCC is running out of money. We usually put out a newsletter around the holidays, and that's when we get the most donations. Unfortunately, the two board members were unwilling to assist with the newsletter, so that's why we are desperate for help. That's the short story. There is so much more to it. That's all we need; help with the newsletter. I'm pretty sure I can get my hands on the master; it would just be a matter of someone helping with the graphics, etc. We'd type up the story, etc. We just need help putting it together. If there is anyone that could help with this, we (and the cats) would greatly appreciate it. Here is a cute little kitten for you to look at.

That's alright! If I were to be able to send you the original file, would you take a look and see if it's something you might be able to help with? It's a really simple newsletter.

If you get really desperate, it's fairly easy to make a newsletter using microsoft word. That's what we use, and it certainly doesn't look professional, but it doesn't look too terrible either. And then we just Kinkos to print them.

I thought about that ... I'm know my way around Word, but I'm not proficient with it. Otherwise I would just do it and hope it turned out alright.

I just use lots and lots of text boxes! If you need to resort to that, let me know and I can tell you how I do it in Word, and I could email you one of our newsletters to see how it looks.

Hi walrus, I'm a graphic designer. Do you know what the working file format is? I use InDesign primarily. I'd be happy to help out.

I love PPKers!
If you want a wee story written or something, I'd be happy to help. I suck at all things design.

If it's just design work you're needing, I'm no help, but I'd be happy to proof your copy if you need that done!

You guys are great! I'll let you know when I get the original (if I get it). I have no idea what file type it is. I'm waiting for the barn manager to get back to me.
