thanks though! missmuffcake said she was sharing some pics that she liked, so a simple "thanks" probably would have been sufficient, or not saying anything.

It appears most of their veganish styles seem to be a bit young, that that it is bad but my husband is more of a classic guy. I looked and found this one, still seems to be a younger style but closer to a classic style: http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/alfa ... 26spc%3D13

Missmuffcake, I don't know if you found what you were looking for in terms of your BF, but it looks like Kohl's also has some cotton based peacoats as well.

Yes, thanks. People really need to learn to filter themselves... linanil wrote: Missmuffcake, I don't know if you found what you were looking for in terms of your BF, but it looks like Kohl's also has some cotton based peacoats as well. He decided he did not want a pea-coat, I am still trying to get him to pick a coat out, we have till this weekend! I just wanted to post these because finding vegan stuff for dudes in mall stores not matter your price range seems really hard. Oh and most of the clothes I look for are for the 20-something (BF is 26), I even shop in the juniors because often times things are faux in that department.

I think they're really nice looking! It's good to hard an affordable vegan men's peacoat. Thanks!

Yeah I know you and your BF are younger and I think all of the pea coats are fine. I haven't needed to buy my husband any pea coat type any time soon but I appreciate seeing what offerings are out there.

I am 33, so I am not that young! I am a cougar!!! ::fierce face:: I think finding any dude-ly vegan gear seems hard no matter what age group. I know there are nice shoes and jackets out there for guys in the $200 range but my boyfriend would die if I spent that much on one item. I have no problem dropping a $100 on a jacket for him, though he sees it as a lot...But I really try to shop designer on sale or using coupons...I do not mind pulling out my Macy's pass for $50 off a to-die-for pair of Versace glasses I have been lusting after. He spent $35 on a hat and feels ripped off. Forever-21 only gets you so far. It has come down to these 2 jackets We are going to see if he can try this on in store: http://www.jcpenney.com/dotcom/brands/d ... JCP_T=XGN3or this one which started his coat hunt: http://www.zappos.com/vans-av-edict-jacket-black

buying one high-quality expensive item that will last a while and you will wear all the time is better than getting a few inexpensive items you don't love, so shove toward the back of the closet.

I feel that way too. I buy stuff that will last then go the cheaper route for fashion-y pieces that will look dated in a few months. The boyfriend wanted a F21 jacket, it looked like it was not the best quality, so I told him let's look at better pieces. Dockers and Vans both have lasting quality and are still in my holiday price point.
