i have 8 cats and feed them costco dry food and friskies cans.

i know friskies is garbage, but i don't want to feed them just dry food, and i just feed 2 cans a day split between 8 cats, so they don't eat too much of that.

i used to buy high end brands of food, but as i become poorer, the quality of the dry food i buy goes down. i think the costco food is a pretty good deal for the quality..no by-products or gross sounding ingredients...but the price has gone up several dollars at my store. i'm just wondering if there are any other decent dry foods that are in the $15/bag range. the costco food has now entered the $20/bag range.

what do you feed your cats?

I realize you asked specifically about dry food, but if you want more wet food options there are a few varieties of Fancy Feast canned food that have less than 10% carbs. That is what I buy.

This PDF lists them:

sorry, i didnt think to list the size. it's a 25 lb bag. and i buy 2 a month.

fancy feast is just friskies with an upscale ad campaign, so they get away with charging twice as much for half the food. i think you can get nutro max for about the same price as FF and the quality is much higher.

It was especially the less than 10% carbohydrates I was worried about, but each to their own, I was only trying to add useful info. Sorry.
