I want some nice, thick socks to get me through the winter. Do you have a pair that you really like? Where did you get them?

I found a shitload of Euro Snow socks at Marshall's both this year and last.

I can't find an exact match online, but they're made of acrylic, pretty hard to find since most of the ski type socks I see are wool.

I have a couple of pairs of these Wigwam socks that I really like. If you have small feet you can get a 3 pack for $15.

for when it's ridiculously, torturously cold here, i wear fleece socks. they don't fit in my normal shoes, but they are super duper warm (too warm to wear to bed). also, they're quick dry, since even in the winter we line dry.

I have sensitive skin, and it can be tough to find socks that aren't mostly synthetic. Luckily, these are mostly organic cotton. They're great for a cold climate - thick and cozy.
