I keep nearly buying it. They have it in H&B and I keep opening the fridge, fondling it, then putting it back. It's three half-size cheezly lumps in festive flavours and costs about £4. If it were a little bit cheaper, I would have probably bought it, but it's too much for an impulse buy. There's a review [url]here[/url].

It's just the cheddar, the blue and the cranberry. The annoying thing is that they aren't wrapped separately so when you open the pack you have to eat them all, and we all know there's nothing worse than Cheezly mould.

In my quest to find nommy paté, I picked up some Redwoods Brussels style pate last week. The flavour was good, but the texture was utter pants. Far too crumbly and wouldn't stay on my toast. Picked up a tube of Granovita mushroom paté yesterday and tried it for lunch. Amaaaazing stuff. Perfect texture and really yum. Have to stop myself from squeezing it straight into my gob from the tube. :)

On that note DO NOT try the Redwood duck & orange pâté, it's hideous, like, really really bad. The duck isn't blended into it so there are just random lumps of the duck in the tube!

I couldn't get on with the orange flavour, I found it really fake tasting when the orange was the unfake bit of it. They were selling it for 50p at Vegfest which made me think that maybe I wasn't the only one who didn't get on with it!

I'll be sticking with the granovita I think! Any other must-try flavours that people have had?

Also, am in love with everything I've tried so far that Fry's make. Their hot dogs are amaaaaaazing.

I love Frys too, their nuggets and chicken burgers are the best.

Inspired by your post I just had some Granovita Shiitake Pâté for lunch on some sourdough. So good, I haven't had it in ages.

I love granovita's pates. Love them. The peppercorn one in a tin is sooo good. It doesn't last long in my house, especially if I have tiger bread.

I will look out for the peppercorn stuff - only tubes found so far. Mmmmsourdough. I can't be trusted around a loaf.

I bought some of the Fry's Chunky Strips yesterday from the HFS and made a warm Oriental 'beef' salad for dinner. They were fab - I had tried them at events before and hadn't been too impressed, but they soaked up the hoisin sauce and went beautifully chewy and flavourful in the oven.

That sound so good! I sometimes use them instead of homemade seitan in the Irish Stew from AFR.

My aunt picked me up at Gatwick mere hours ago and I've already eaten Vegusto (YES!), vegan brownies, flapjacks, ginger cookies, a really nice soy yogurt, and many other things. She lives across the street from Unicorn and brought me two grocery bags full of vegan stuff from Manchester. You guys have awesome shiitake.

I love Unicorn! I went to Manchester recently for a conference and went in there for the first time, went up to the deli counter and asked what was vegan. I couldn't believe it when they said everything in the entire building was vegan. I ate so much pie and cake that day ...

I can't believe that today was the first time I've ever tried Original Creamy Sheese - it's so good! I've already eaten two bagels today with it and fresh tomato on :)

Also, recently I've been eating Sojade lemon yoghurt - I've tried a couple of other flavours but I'm loving the lemon.

I adore Sojade as a brand. Even omnihusband is entirely off the cow juice thanks to their vanilla soy milk. My favourite of the yoghurts so far is the mango and peach - it tastes like summer.

Made my first vegan cheesy pizza last night. Cheezly mozzarella for the melting factor and some of the red cheddar variety for extra cheesy flavour, plus lots of olives, mushrooms and homemade pizza sauce. While it didn't have the stretch that cow milk cheese does, it tasted awesome and is now in recipe rotation :)

I was just there! I had a delicious tofu ball and they even have the melty Sheese!! I haven't EVER seen that in a store before!

Did they have the hot dog stall? I normally go there on the way home from Old Trafford, which is always a great way to cheer me up after the annual walloping.

The lemon one is the best!

I need to hunt out the lemon. I can get more blueberry and natural than I know what to do with, but haven't seen lemon so far.

it's not been there this year at all yet. I'll ask what's happening when i'm there next cos i know dan (who runs it) is working in the shop itself at the moment.

I went to Ms Cupcake in Brixton yesterday and wooooah was it amazing! So much vegan stuff! But all soooo expensive :( I had to control myself to make sure I didn't buy the whole shop. I saw some PB cups but couldn't afford them - in the end got a couple of cupcakes, (one for me, one for SO) and some cookies. Delicious!

I tried some samples of Violife cheese the other day (tomato and basil flavoured slices and block of original cheese) and they were amazing! I'm definitely going to be asking my local wholefoods shop to stock them.

I'm really annoyed with Tesco. I've been getting vitalite from there since Christmas and now they've rearranged the butter/spread section and it's gone. I really liked that stuff *sniff*.

Back to Pure Sunflower, or is the Tesco sunflower spread any good?

The Tesco free-from sunflower spread is good (keep an eye out for offers) but at the moment the Pure soya/sunflower is on 2 for £2 so I get that...they still sell vitalite at mine but it's gone up :(

The sunflower spread they have is their bog standard version of flora. Have checked ingredients list and no dairy though, unlike Flora.
The free from range here is pretty limited, though better than it was.
