I was sort of inspired by the PPK 100 for this. Tons of new stuff comes out every year and I thought it would be nice for people to talk about what they liked! Books, games, movies, music, tv shows, apps, pretty much anything that would normally go in the Living Room? I know that movies and games and the like come out at different times in different countries, sometimes even in different years, but if something came out for you in 2012, let's talk about it!

My game of the year is Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii. This game out in Japan in 2010 and in PAL regions in 2011, but not until April 2012 for North America. It is amaaaazing. I have been putting off finishing it because I don't want it to be over. I'm guessing Persona 4 Golden will tie with it for my personal GOTY, but my Vita hasn't arrived from Amazon yet, so I haven't started it! I also loved The Last Story, which had the same sort of situation as Xenoblade: came out in Japan and PAL regions a while ago, but in July 2012 for North America. I also really enjoyed Tales of Grades f for the PS3, and the HD version of Okami on PSN (I'm a sucker for trophies).

I didn't see too many movies this year, but on Saturday night I saw Wreck-It Ralph and loved it so much. I can't really think of the last movie I saw that I liked so much. I also saw Safety Not Guaranteed and I liked it.

What did you like this year?

Moonrise Kingdom!

My favorite book was State of Wonder by Ann Patchett.

Doctor Who of course! Also really love the Avengers vs. X-Men comic book series. Been busy reading Wheel of Time (14 LONG books!) all year, but I'm still really digging it!

Anything I watch/read/play is generally several years old :)

So new for me this year was Dexter, which I love. American Horror Story was quite interesting.

It has been on my to-do list for ages but I finished Dragon Age 2 and I'm restarting Dragon Age. I also splurged a bit (paid more than $10 for a game) and bought Deus Ex which is pretty good.

This year I also bought a Kindle Paperwhite and although it could be better, I've enjoyed myself reading more books than I've read in the past few years.

How to Destroy Angels "Ice Age"

Alfred Bester The Stars My Destination, Brendan Keogh Killing is Harmless

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4, Community

I guess this is an okay list.

I liked it BUT I wasn't happy that, halfway through the movie, I called what was going to happen to the partners. Fortunately Ryan had already seen it when I blurted out my prediction.

Have you seen Moonrise Kingdom? I think you'd love it.

I didn't really like Moonrise Kingdom. I thought it was like an American moviemaker trying to pull off "quirky European" and failing.
I didnt watch enough movies this year but I did love (watched twice in the cinema) También la lluvia/Even The Rain. The first time I went for Gael García Bernal, the second time for the story and the topic and everything, wah, wonderful!

Tv wise I loved Sherlock, Elementary, Community and of course Breaking Bad.
