I saw this in a store today and thought it was funny that the authors couldn't get their own title. Some of the recipes looked innovative and good, but others were like "put some silken tofu on top of this if you think it doesn't have enough protein."

OK judging by the tags on Amazon, this book has obviously not gone unnoticed.

Why don't people eat potato greens? Or if they do, why don't I hear about it? Apparently sweet potato greens are popular some places, but that's all I've heard about.

Sweet potato greens are common in parts of Africa and Asia. Greens from regular potatoes, however, which are in a different family entirely, are highly toxic, and eating them can result in coma or death.

Apparently, according to the Internets, you can make a tea of potato greens to use as an organic pesticide. So there's always that.

Potato greens are depressing. Maybe this thread should be about Vegetarian with a Vengeance again.

What are the potatoes like in Iraq? Other than the ones in MREs.

Tot form, all the way. Though curly fries are also great.

I've rarely ran across a potato I didn't like. Bring 'em.

Didn't the kid from Into the Wild (Chris McCandless) die from eating wild potato greens?

I love potatoes in almost every form. I think curly fries and tots may be tied for first place. I also like them roasted in the oven with some simple herbs and a bit of oil. Or roasted in the pan with my tofurkey!

I think it was reputed to be something else. His Wikipedia entry states an unsourced claim that laboratory tests proved he didn't die from poisoning. Hopefully someone less lazy than me will elaborate on that or remove it from the article.
