Boober, that's awesome!

I'm not impressed with the Bondness of those OPI shades. It's a good thing I don't like OPI though, or I'd. E forced to do something dumb like buy them all for the names.

I got my Chanel Skyline today! I'm excited. It's a pretty metallic skyblue. More of a spring shade, but it can go wintry too. Now I'll have to plan my Wednesday outfit around it.

Right? I don't think the colors suit the names at all really, but I would picture Skyfall differently! Name aside it's a pretty color though. I'm doing good with not buying anything, but I pass a Chanel boutique on my way to the nail place, and I've been so tempted lately to pick up something, rose cache and one of the dark reds from this fall; I forget the name. And May. And Frenzy... Right. So I don't ever stop.

ETA: Just googled Skyline--gorgeous! And I think it'll really pop against black. (I'm not criticizing, I wear mostly black, too.)

Hmm, you think? I was planning grey. Maybe black would be better.

Frenzy is great--I think it's a you color too.

The dark reds may have carmine, FYI. I kind of doubt Malice does because it's a black base with red glitter. I don't have that one.

Or grey! I just said that because I know you dress as colorfully as I do.

Thanks for the carmine tip--I had no idea! I kind of hate carmine.

I should care more about carmine, but, eh. It gives me room to evolve into a better vegan someday.

It looks like it's supposed to be GeiGei--is that pronounced like Gigi?

Julie, Gei Gei, and Piaf are from the Zoya for Zang Toi collection so there are already swatches out there. (I still am not sure how to pronounce Gei Gei.)

I tried to do a gradient of BL Diamond Geezer over Trustafarian. All I really did was mess up my Trustafarian mani... I still want to try a gradient though. I need some makeup sponges.

These rough glitters can be dangerous! I put on Zoya's Kissy last night, and I made sure to tap the tops of my nails so I wouldn't have bar glitter hanging over the edges, but I only had time for one topcoat last night so it was still really rough when I woke up this morning and put my contacts in, a rouge piece of bar glitter scratched me under my eye.

My hair gets snagged on rough glitter!

And thank you, Zoya's Sooki is perfect! I wish they had some sort of promotion going on because these are much more expensive than what I usually buy (I'm a prude with money).

Basically, Skyline is the best polish, ever. It's just beautiful pale, shiny, metallic silvery blue perfection. I'm so in love.

Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe - 3 coats

I usually don't like glitter but that deborah lippman one is nice!

i love the blue polka dots, Kitteh!

last week i forgot to take a picture of my manicure, but it was a 10-day work in progress... the first 5 or 6 days it was plain zoya kristen (baby blue), and then i added a coat of butter london henley regatta (turquoise glitter) and a coat of zoya frida (teal jelly) on the 6th day or so. it was my first time wearing kristen, and i really liked it; it's a very cool and pretty shade of blue. adding the sparkle and the jelly was interesting, too, and totally changed the look. it was the first time i'd experimented with zoya frida, and i got the idea because people said it was good for "jelly sandwich" techniques. anyhow, next time i'll remember to take a picture!

on saturday i'm going to a salon nearby that i recently learned carries all zoya polish. i'm super excited, and when i called to make the appointment i mentioned that i was into zoya and the girl was all, "oh yeah! we have SO many colors, too!" i'm not sure what i'll choose, but if they have the new holiday colors i'm really tempted to go with storm. it looks purty.

Kitteh the blue + polka dots is lovely, I love the colours!

I can't wait for Sooki to arrive! It'll be my fist Zoya polish!
