I'm actually pretty sure that the PPK banned "+1" organically about 2 years ago - literally. #funreadnonetheless

Oh man, "curate" is a good one- I noticed how a lot of those eco shopping sites were using that- "So-and-so curates her picks for eco-friendly makeup and fashion."

Bromance is the worst word ever. I hate it and everything it stands for. Gross.

I've never heard of like a third of them.

Hashtag and ping both weird me out in conversation because they're words I'm used to using in a technical setting. I don't like things in weird contexts! Because I'm old!

Also not on the list, but embiggen. GOOD magazine always says "click to embiggen" and I don't understand when plain ol' enlarge fell out of favor.

I kind of love embiggen, since it's a classic Simpsons reference... but it definitely needs to be used with judicious moderation.

I forgot about humblebrag! I don't know if it's the word I hate more, or just the whole concept.

Quinoa is on the list? What the heck?

Wait, you are not hating the word, you are hating the unknown awesomeness that is Quinoa. Fine. More for me.

Semi-related tangent. I can't stand when people use hashtags on facebook. Or on a blog comment, or in a forum. They don't work. If you are trying to make a statement, you just look stupid.

Or when people use W.T.F., LOL or OMG in real life speech. Drives. Me. Cray.

Oh and the word cray. I love it. Everyone hates it. I have now become the person that I hate when other people use it.

I'm over quinoa. I'll put it in my mouth because I'm vegan, but really over it.

I've never heard about 90-95% of these words before. Thank goodness YOLO is on that list...but quinoa?

This list doesn't include webinar, so I can't take it seriously.
