Glad to hear it went well.

So my ex colleagues have been trying to get in contact with me. Wonder are they having a dose of guilt or are they going to try make me feel bad for leaving?

Yay for vegan acceptance. Two of my co-workers have been reading my blog and very interested in trying to eat vegan in the new year. I told them that even them doing some vegan meals would be awesome! I told one co-worker that my goal was to update the blog more in 2013, and she said, "That's great, because my goal is to read your blog and start eating like you!"

That's awesome, ijustdiedinside! You have a really positive attitude about, and I think that's great. And it's the truth. Even if you aren't offered the job, having interview experience is great--hopefully it'll keep you from stressing on your next one!

People are such forking crassholes. Somebody, probably one of the custodians (since they used to steal food until we finally told them they could no longer share our leftovers since they interpreted that to mean they could take anything they wanted, including frozen meals) stole the bottle of iced tea I put in the fridge so I would have a drink for my very long drive home today.

Now, I have nothing to drink for my 3 or more hour drive home. In order to stop somewhere, I'd have to drive the other direction, get into traffic, and possible add 30+ minutes to myu drive.

I am so forking pissed.

Argh!!!! My dog has gone insane!!! I only got 3 hours peace and quiet after her walk. She has had 2 walks today so I can't bring her again (can't walk her too much because she isn't fully grown yet and her breed are prone to hip problems). Usually she quietens down once I go to bed but I have to stay up late because my neighbour wants to be picked up at midnight from her christmas party. It is going to be a looooooong evening.

I bet a lot of people are going to feel very foolish when the apocalypse doesn't happen. I'd just like to say to them, calm down people, it's not the end of the world.

I decided to get stockings for Xmas. I was gonna make it a surprise for Mike, but now I'm trying to decide if I want to tell him so he can get in on the giving me small things action. I was just gonna make some stuff (cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, stuff like that) and give him a £10 Amazon voucher (since we already got my gift, which was way more expensive than what he asked for). But now I'm thinking that it might be nice if he could have the opportunity to surprise me with small stuff. I dunno. What do y'all think?

I saw a story on TV about people preparing for the end of the world. They were buying these $100K fall-out shelter/bunker things and stocking up on foodstuffs, etc. I wonder what they're going to do with them tomorrow? I guess you can always be prepared for the end of the world anyway.

I am still in awe that people actually believe in doomsday predictions to that extent! There are a heck of a lot of gullible people out there.

Hallelujah! I finished one of my big projects due by the end of the year (which is today). The other will be late, but it's not my fault. Time for vacation!

Wow, I got lucky. Only took me a little over 3 hours to get home from work. I only had one stretch of road where I had to amuse myself by PPK'ing. Please note that this means a part where I just give up and physically put the car in park. The HOV merge was totally stopped for 20 minjtes for some reason nobody seemed to ever figure out. No accident or anything, just nothing moving.

Best thing: I am now the proud owner of a 2010 black ice denim Harley Street Bob. Of course, I still can't ride it yet. Stupid numb leg. But people are able to get back on with worse issues than mine, so it will happen!

Had my surgery today. Woke up and the fentanol had worn off so I was in more pain than I knew physically possible. After much morphine and a few other lovely drugs I'm feeling okay-ish. Lying at on my mom's couch watching the food network covered in blankets.

I did NOTHING at work today. Absolutely nothing. Stared out the window and watched the rain, played hangman on my phone, chatted with friends on facebook. I sat at my desk for 9 hours and wasted every moment of it.

In my defense, my job is slow right now, and it's hard to get anything done because everyone else has mentally checked out already too.
