So I used to love these many years ago in my past life as a vegan. They were cheap, tasty, and vegan. However, they appear to be the only flavor of ramen that is vegan (at least the super cheap ramen noodles..I don't want to spend 1.50 for a pack of vegan ramen, that's against the point of ramen noodles). I am vegan again, and now I can't find them anywhere! Some places have top brand, but not the oriental flavor. Anyone know where I can find this?

Where do you live? When I was in CO, they sold them at King Sooper's. I'm in FL now and I can't find them anywhere. A co-worker was just eating ramen in the break room yesterday, and I was mourning the fact that I haven't had any in 8 months. Sometimes you just want some cheap, unhealthy college food!

There is one little rural country store here that sells them. I'll cry if they ever stop.

I live in Michigan and can find them at Meijer. They are not in the soup aisle like I would, but in the International aisle.

I didn't know Oriental flavor (just typing that is making me uncomfortable) was vegan! they have it at the grocery store by my house. It's a Raley's/Nob Hill ... not sure where you live.

Yeah I've not seen em in awhile. I can't remember where I used to pick them up? Maybe its Food Lion. Rarr, yeah I need to figure that out.
what was really awesome was when this little ol IGA had Top brand Chili flavor. It seems vegan too, right? Anyway, I loved tossing in some curry powder and some frozen peas. But they stopped carrying it. I might have to ask the grocery to get some in or something.

If you wind up not being able to find them and still want cheap ramen, I highly recommend finding an Indian grocery store and trying the various kinds of Indian ramen. They come in flavors like "spicy curry" and "masala." They are now my favorite variation of ramen and they are SO CHEAP. As far as I can tell, every brand and flavor of ramen at our Indian grocers is vegan.

Oddly the only place I can find them is at WinCo here in Oregon, which to me is the place those go when they want more bang for their buck, but not as good quality in some departments as other grocery stores. Like 'second picks' in produce to keep it cheaper.

I live in Knoxville TN and they used to have them at Food City, but then they stopped carrying them and I haven't found anywhere else. Amazon has them though if you are desperate.

This doesn't answer the question, but just as a PSA: Top Ramen's chili flavor is also vegan and it's 10x as good as the oriental. It's extremely hard to find though. (Meijer in Michigan has it)

(Meijer in Michigan has it) Yeah, I've only ever found it once! There's a third that's vegan as well but I forget what it is and I've only ever found it once, as well. For a short time they came out with a "healthier" Ramen that was vegan (and really good) but it didn't last very long and I haven't seen it in years.

Back of the second aisle from the right. You'll probably drive right by it on your way into PC!

These are easy to find in my area! I want to try the ones from the Indian market, though, so I'd be up for a swap!

I'd try the Ingles and Bi-Lo. The is not related but stop by Pita House for a falafel if you so desire. Delicious.

I just noticed it last week because I was buying some (non vegan) ramen for my hubs, who had a cold. I saw the chili flavor and it totally caught my eye. Let me know if you ever want me to get you some, nts!

Ingles is always a good bet for harder to find things, it's my little oasis of specialty foods in the middle of nowhere. I think last time I found them was at Lowes Foods, but they aren't in your list of nearby stores.
And reading about ramen noodles makes me compulsively need to find and eat them.
