yelp has a deal for vegan tree going on right now. $10 for $15 worth of stuff. (not as deep of a discount as most daily deal sites, but 30% off isn't bad)

i just got this groupon for the great urban race. (it's really funny, cause we were absolutely not going to pay the $120 fee, but $60 isn't bad. so mr. carrot asked me to keep an eye out for a groupon. and sure enough!) it's next weekend. so short notice, but it sounds really fun. does anyone else want to join us?

it's more like, well, I'm familiar with the city and have to find somewhere to go y the end of july (i know, like 7 months away, I've got time to ponder)

I'm thinking about Albuquerque, Seattle, or Philly.

both ABQ and seattle are both lovely. if ABQ had a vegan donut shop, i'd say go there, but seattle wins this round.
