a dentist visit. I'm weird.

feels a bit premature to answer this question since it's only 10am but it's a gorgeous sunny blue sky day outside, so that's the day off to a good start. . .

I made black bean soup and have been sitting around doing nothing all day. I've been working a lot lately, so this has been a nice break.

Discovered and made the best frosting ever= ermine.

I went to painting class. It's an 8 week session and last night was class #6. Someone in our little group of 5 (tables clustered together that way) said "we are all going to sign up for the next session we can all do this together again, aren't we?" We all agreed that we wanted to!

Had breakfast in bed - apple crumble muffins and coconut chai, while reading Vanity Fair and pretending to be a lady of leisure with Cuddles as my useless but devoted valet.

The Emperor (my 1 year old kid) is walking around the house naked, proudly waving around a photograph of his cousin while quacking.

It's still early in the day but this is gonna be hard to beat.

Hahaha! Indeed it will.

So far today, it was my trip to WFM. I got a new kale pillow (the big 2 lb bag of kale), ran into a friend and her 2 month old baby, had a pomegranate-cranberry sorbet, and had the cutest man in the store bagging my groceries while chatting with me about the different sorbet flavors. As grocery trips go, it was an A.

All my bosses left for a conference and they left me a bag of Uncle Eddie's chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.

Having my hair cut and napping on the couch with my cats! And it's FRIDAY!

Work has been sucking pretty bad lately, so I can honestly say the best thing about my day has been the PPK, and the fact that it's only crashed on me once tonight! Yay!

I had the day off work, and the weather is awesome!

SNAP! Me too :) I should be outside in the sun... but instead I'm indoors packing.

I had 2 delicious beers.

I had great chocolate pie and helped a friend record a cover of the new Rihanna song (he's amazing).

I went to Target to get a couple of new bowls, found some decent ones for $6 each. Took them to the checkout where the girl scanned them and it turned out there were only $3. I love you, Target.

My freshy made morning juice, that looked like a cupcake rising but tasted like beetroot and spinach.
