I think I'm going to make holishkes (stuffed cabbage) tonight from the spork foods website. Any ideas of what to serve with it since it's tempeh, rice, and cabbage in one?

ijdi can confirm, but I think you just pile a few on a plate, cover with paper towel, and microwave for 40-60 seconds? It is super easy. I don't have a microwave at home but I do that at work sometimes.
Papadums are the best cheap and fast snack ever.

Tonight I'm reunioning with some friends from high school. We're going to a super non-vegan restaurant, but I've been there a couple of times already with my friend who works there and she always makes sure I'm hooked up with an off-the-menu delicious vegan meal. Last time it was a huge plate of veggies cooked in different ways, with fried polenta and a piccata-type sauce. I liked it so much that I won't be surprised if the chef makes me something similar tonight.

I had some leftover V'con pine nut cream from making NYE appetizers. So I defrosted some garlic basil polenta and some marinara; layered the polenta and marinara in a pan with some spinach and cannelloni and topped with the pine nut creme and baked.

I was getting my hopes up for some kind of interesting squash and chocolate recipe! Would it be a mole sort of thing or did you indulge in chocolate squash pie for dinner? I can think a lot before I read the next sentence!

A chick'n patty with a gimme lean crust (like a pie) topped with cornbread stuffing which was topped with spinach which was topped with sauteed mushrooms and onions.
