I can't believe crosby managed to not be a complete crasshole in the last minute of the show! Super impressed. Also, sydney needs to get in serious trouble for being such a jerk to victor.

i know! dick! if beaver shows up, i'm leaving!
and yeah, was kristina double lying about her age? she's definitely in her 40s. i think we'd know about it if adam had knocked her up at 16.
also, i'm pretty sure when you have cancer and need a wig, you go to a special wig place and you don't shave your head completely bald by yourself. i was kind of cracking up at how easy it was for her to shave her head with that beard trimmer. i shave my legs with one of those sometimes (like after the winter) and i have to make like 5 passes.

To be fair, it looked like it took her a long time to shave her head. Did she say she was 34 at the end, that's a little crazy. Some writers there can't do math.

yeah, i was just kind of assuming she was kidding, but then adam didn't say anything so then i wasn't sure.
seriously, everyone on this show is a dick. even joel was being a douche this episode! i don't know how i get sucked into it every week. or why it makes me cry when i hate everyone.

I agree esme! Everyone sucks, but they have a few redeeming moments. Also, could victor write a letter to his mom?

I watched it and the whole KristinaKancer storyline was blurgh. Kristina's hair falling out in the middle of a girl's night out? Blurgh. Her shaving her head in the middle of the night (OMG during that montage, she looked a lot like Riff Raff from The Rocky Horror Picture Show) and then waking up and presenting her husband with a giant alien head (I guess Monica Potter didn't really shave her head and is just wearing a giant swimcap) and being offended that he'd be surprised? Blurgh. Adam buying a hooker wig and Kristina being offended but then magically getting an even more obviously fake one? Blurgh. Kristina upsetting Adam and making it up with a hotel sex date and then being upset and apologetic because she couldn't do it because she was tired? Blurgh. Kristina being flattered by that weird creepy drunk bar dude and Adam being grateful for it? Blurgh. Monica Potter is hothothot, but how drunk would you have to be to think she was 27 (or even 34)? Blurgh. The only thing I liked was her white coat as she left the hotel. The actress is 41 and absolutely gorgeous, and she makes bald look smoking. Best part of the storyline was no Max (YAY!). And of course there was no Nora, because she is a random phantom baby who disappears when her parents want a sex date.
Sarah and Hank dating had no chemistry. Even when he was buttering her croissant, he was just as unsexy as the guys in the unsexy steakhouse.
Sydney needling Victor and him responding inappropriately/accidentally was somewhat promising. I hope the writers add some context to the Victor and his mom storyline.
Crosby tearing up at the end with his mother-in-law was nice. But he was being such a brat with Jasmine. But big bonus, Jasmine didn't mention wanting another baby.
The only thing that was interesting is that Mark isn't completely gone (yay FB)!

I thought Sydney was being a huge brat. They obviously needed to talk to her first and see what provoked him to throw the bat. But that would be too obvious, right?

Well I could see freaking out if one of my kids threw a metal bat at the other and broke a giant glass window (thank goodness for safety glass!). No matter how bratty the first kid is being, that is a pretty excessive reaction. I love that they're showing an adoption of an older kid, and that there are many bonds to be rebuilt and gaps to be filled. This is probably the storyline I'm most vested in. Its also the only one that is really about Parenthood :)

I thought Sydney was being a huge brat. They obviously needed to talk to her first and see what provoked him to throw the bat. But that would be too obvious, right? She's always been a huge brat. And yeah, I thought her mom (whose name I just forgot) acted very rashly by not probing to find out exactly what happened there. Monica Potter makes bald look HOT! She has a beautiful face. I did like the red wig though. (but that may be because I'm a ginger myself.)

I liked this episode. I'm weird probably!
I think the age thing was supposed to be a continued joke, but just never corrected?

I think the age thing was supposed to be a continued joke, but just never corrected? Ditto. I was feeling like an outcast! Not really, but I did like the episode. I didn't cry or anything though. I think Adam does a little side smirk when she says 34. I thought he was hilarious strutting and preening. Ray Romano and Lorelei just make me feel awkward. Victor scared me, and I think that mom (can't think of her name) did a good job at showing how conflicted she feels. I do agree with everyone on the white coat though--divine!
