Being a month overdue for my medical botox and finding out the hospital only have me on the list for a review appointment instead of the second round botox appointment the doctor said he would put me on, back in June. My migraines are seeping back into night time, so I'm getting no quality of sleep and have to up my meds considerably just to take the edge off. Now I find out it'll probably take 6 weeks for me to even see the doc, because people aren't doing their jobs properly. Which means the migraines will just keep getting more frequent and stronger and it will take the botox longer to work, if they even agree to give it to me again. I'd like to see these people trying to do their job with a condition like this.

On the plus side, my lovely man is bringing Indian food for dinner and insists on giving me a proper neck massage tonight, to try and ease today's mustard migraine. I'm worried the migraines will get to full force again and interfere with this wonderful relationship. I waited until I was 41 before meeting the person I'm meant to be with, I want to enjoy this dammit!

I hope you get your meds soon and are headache free.

Send bonus loves if you can. Sounds like my grandma is suddenly really, really not doing well and it sucks that I'm across the world from her and not well enough to travel immediately (or even less than immediately).

My cousin's fiance was killed this morning. We don't know how yet... they said an accident, which could mean car, but he was a cop so it could be something else. I'm sooo bummed for her. She's really made such a nice life for herself despite having not the easiest life growing up (never terrible, but not easy). She'd been with this guy for years and just got her dress for the wedding they wer supposed to have in November. To make it worse, today is her birthday.

I sent her a message to let her know I'm thinking of her. I can't even begin to imagine what she is going through.

I had one of the worst days of my life yesterday, mentally. I've just been so, so down. Yes, I'm seeing a therapist. It's just been so hard lately, and it all came crashing down these last few days. I feel as weak as a kitten and can't handle anything mentally right now.

so I mentioned I was sick yesterday but I didn't mention I had also somehow bruised my tailbone. (seriously no memory of this)

My worst thing today is that the tailbone pain is REALLY ANNOYING. Argggggggh

over & over seeing a dead cat image on my fb list. :( there is a guy going around dumping/killing cats and now a new one turned up and everyone needs to share the pic. i am really not comfortable seeing it.

My cousin's fiance was off duty last night. He was in a single-vehicle accident, he hit a traffic signal pole and was not wearing a seat belt. They don't know why he hit the pole yet (ice, alcohol, other) or if they know they haven't released that info yet. My cousin was at work when it happened (she works with the cops so they told her right away). I'm sure I'll get more details in a day or two.

I'll think of something nice to do for her, but I think I'll wait a few weeks. I know that she has a ton of support now, but in 3-4 weeks when it has calmed down some I think it would be nice to let her know that she still has support and people who care about her.

Something bad happened to me recently that I don't know how to deal with. I don't feel like I can tell anyone about it. I feel so alone and every day it gets worse, like I'm sliding into a deep depression. I have such little energy and keep crying.

8ball - Can you speak with a counselor about it? I hope you can seek some help.

8ball, things are so much worse when we keep them all to our selves. They can build and fester and become bigger in our minds than they really are. Or we can convince our selves that it's not as big of a deal as it really is and not take the action we need to take. Please try to find someone you can talk to about this. I hope things get better for you soon.

Rhizo is wise. I'm definitely the kind of person who tries to keep these things to herself and really, talking it over with someone is such a help. If it's not something you could talk to someone in your life about, maybe you could talk to a counselor? It's so easy for things to snowball if you keep them all to yourself. Take care of yourself, ok?

Pi: I think it's great for you to do that. I'm so sorry for your cousin's loss, I can't imagine what she's going through.

Agree--I think that is a wonderful thing to do, Pi. She's going to need reminders for some time to come, I'd imagine.

Also agree, 8ball, try to talk to someone, anyone if you can. You are loved and admired, and it's important that you love and admire yourself enough to talk to someone.

ETA: My worst thing is a migraine. I should have seen it coming with smaller headache I had yesterday that wasn't going away. I've taken enough medicine that it's like, normal headache size now. I really need to get off my butt and call the doctor to get a prescription for when it's like this. I really thought I was going to pass out this morning!

I wish I were home. Grandma's in tears, not sure whether to go to ER or her dr. or to stay home, but certain she's at the end of it. Mom's the only one home right now and she's pretty much the worst person to be left to any kind of medical issue because she can't handle non-functioning bodies. (Even as a kid, whenever I was sick, I had to go to grandma first because mom couldn't take it.) (My grandma is neither a worrier nor a drama queen. She's woken up the past few days feeling like she's suffocating because her heart's slowing down too much, and afaik there's nothing the hospital can actually do, or they would have done it already.)

i'm so sorry, lutin. it's hard to be so far away.
