For real this time. I feel like I always post that I'm coming and then I don't. But I've booked it and I'm all set.

I'll be staying in Camden and my boyfriend is coming, too. It's my first time there so I really want to just hang out and explore, but I figure I could do at least one book signing type thing. So any thoughts on where I should have it? I'd love if it were some place where they'd make food or something, since I won't really have time to do that and I hate events without food!

If nothing else, a PPK London meetup is in order! I am so excited I can't even tell you. It's been my dream to go visit London since I was a little kid listening to the Cure in my gothic blanket fort*. I don't know what's taken me so long!

*Word to the wise: don't light candles in your gothic blanket fort. I learned this the hard way.

Exciting!! Ms Cupcake have done book signings With Chloe Coscarelli (and Melisser ElliottI thiiink?!) so I'm sure they'd love to have you! There's also a Loving Hut and InSpiral Lounge (both in Camden) and 222 in Fulham, the only wholly vegan places in London (again, I think!) that might be interested :)

cant decide whether or not to Hijack Isas thread... am going to London in summer with my Mom. what to see/do? In what area is it nice to stay?

Inspiral might be okay for a book signing, but it's pretty small. even when it's not that busy you tend to have to climb over people and do some strategic positioning.

how about Foyles? the Charing Cross location has a cafe that reportedly does good vegan-friendly food. Ms Cupcake is probably a good place, too.

If it is affordable I might pop over to London for the book signing and vegan food. Even if it is a case of me getting a really early morning flight then heading home that night.

I hope you have a wonderful time in London. I used to live and work in Camden in my 20s and had a great time there. I am a huge fan of your food and have lived in London for years but am moving to Scotland in March - I am so gutted that I am going to miss your visit! Do you have time to visit Scotland to do a signing or event? I know you probably won't but I do hope you enjoy meeting all your London fans.

There are so many great places to visit & amazing things to eat in London, hope you have an amazing time. I would recommend that you visit East London while you are here - my part of town. There are so many great things going on with art, music, fashion and amazing food from all corners of the world. There is a vegan cafe in East London called Pogo Cafe although I have yet to visit it so can't give you a recommendation.

PS Made the tofu banh mi today using the recipe on the PPK - it was delicious.

A meet up would be great. I'm not working that weekend either which is amazing!

As others have suggested Ms Cupcake in Brixton, but perhaps Vx in Kings Cross is worth considering too?

No suggestions to add*, but this sounds awesome. Will definitely try and make it down for some kind of book signing/meet up combo. Whee.

*Well, I actually thought I had a suggestion for a second... but then I remembered it was a dream I had last night where a PPK shop opened and there were two full aisles of fresh baked goods (including a doughnut that was all iced up to look like a panda, cute!) and then the rest of the shop was all hard to find vegan goodies. But yeah, you probaby can't do a signing there...
