Yes, Malka has been big enough and adventurous enough for it since I met her! I think L would do well with it too. She loves ball pits.

I do really like dim sum, but like the idea of an indoor playspace for shenanigans even more.

also! i wanted to tell you guys that there is a self serve fro-yo place on 52nd st and 8th ave that has soy based fro-yo. last time i was there they had peanut butter, latte, almond and pistachio flavors. the peanut butter was great! and they had ghiradelli choc. syrup that was vegan as well as various toppings like oreos and mochi and fruit and all that good stuff. it was pretty delish. there's probably no good food right around there, but if you're ever doing a quick meet up and want ice cream, it was good and there were plenty of seats.

That is awesome for us NJ peeps because its close to the Lincoln Tunnel. NOMNOMNOM fro-yo!

I just really love Veggie Dim Sum. If we could do it during the week, it'd be dead quiet and so easy. Anyone want to kale some time with me?

I'd be willing to try the Chelsea piers thing.

Uptown we like to go to the Children's Museum, which is walking distance to Peace Food. I think its $11 per adult and babies are free. Maybe we could do that another time? I'm excited to try something new.

Yeah, the Children's Museum space is pretty big for running around in. I'd try out Chelsea piers though.

I would love to do dim sum during the week. The only Tuesdays that I can do this month are the 8th and 29th.

I'm flexible. I try and head out of NYC by about 3ish because rush hour is a bear, but 2 would be okay, if that works for you! I really want to see you all cute and pregnant and see Ada, who just gets cuter every day!

Or really, whenever past noon/1 - just want to give Malka a chance for a full morning nap, but don't have any real obligations past that until the evening. I may or may not be taking a professional development class Tuesday nights for awhile starting this Tuesday.

They have an adzuki and ginger soup that is so good there. Mmmm. I think on a Tuesday at 2 we should have no issues with the kids running around and dim sum is so toddler/fingerfoodfriendly

I might be interested in doing something beforehand-there is a playspace at the Chinatown Y that is open to the public on weekdays- or all other manner of excitements.

Oh man, so excited for turnip cakes and those kale rice crepes _ so soft and velvetty nomnomnom. Oh and those sesame dumplings for dessert are the best!
