Hilarious that after all these years, I can improvise amazing curries .... and still fail to make a decent pancake, every time.

I watched 3 episodes of Fringe before I fell asleep (I just wanted to lay in bed and watch tv and have a night off from packing...so I did) and had crazy dreams all night long. Probably doesn't help that I ate a bunch of hummus right before I fell asleep as well.

Thanks so much! It is for my writing and I do sort of need lovebirds specifically for the symbolism and the whole story sort of ties into the work and purpose of my main character so I need to research their mating habits/vocalizations/behaviors/fidelity (if that's the right word--but you know--if they are loyal and tend to stay with one mate like my sister tells me cardinals do). But they don't have to outright speak but I did want to know whether they vocalize or not at all and what is the nature of their vocalizations (if it's comprehensible or just chatter). The writing's still in the early stages and I just don't want to develop any misinformation too far without knowing how they actually behave. It's good that the males talk too, because that's the one I need to talk (actually not even talk - just make sounds/vocalize) out of my fictional lovebirds. I hope to find some references to how lovebirds behave when they lose their mate. I'm figuring it's safe to assume that they get somehow depressed...

I guess what I specifically need to research is how the male behaves when separated from his mate...

I am doing this thing where I track where I eat and the website tells you what nutrients and things you are getting enough of. Apparently I'm consistently really low on iron and potassium. So I looked at the foods that have high levels and I'm like, "I eat those foods!" But I guess I need to Popeye it up.

Ooh thanks! I just downloaded this on my phone, I think it's going to make my life a lot easier.

I'm using MyFitnessPal to track my food, and I noticed that some of the stuff that I know has iron in it (like my cereal that I eat every morning specifically because it's fortified with iron) is coming up with no iron on the app. So you might be having a similar problem. That's also a problem here because labels here generally seem to only list added vitamins/minerals, so if I were to input wholemeal bread (which is supposed to be high in iron), it would come up as having no iron in it because it isn't on the label.

This is gonna sound like a ridiculous problem, but I'm almost out of tea. I've found one (ONE!) kind of tea that I can drink without milk and sugar (and I tried a lot), and then every place in Edinburgh that sold it stopped selling it. I managed to bring 5 boxes back from the US (it's Celestial Seasonings), but that was over a month ago, and I think I have one box left (outside of the few bags I have at work). I looked it up online - Amazon US won't ship it to me for a reasonable price (if at all), and Amazon UK wants £5 for one box of 20! The cheapest I've found it is £3.32 for a box of 20. I might have to start looking into teas again and hope that I can find something suitable.
